These posts are not much of a surprise for many of you but I am here to sing the praises of Rick and Outlaw Effects.
I received Lun@ and WA in the mail today (oh and Kioku as well) and I cannot say enough good things about the products. I am still working on building my story as a mentalist and I need to restrain my eagerness to try the effects as parlor tricks and really try to get to the immersive story-telling. These can clearly be very emotional effects if done properly and with thought and preparation. Anyway - I am three weeks into this mentalist-bizarre thing and there is no going back. A special thanks to Rick at OE who endured email after email of questions and for getting things shipped in great time. |

Morpheus: This is your last chance. After this, there is no turning back. You take the blue pill - the story ends, you wake up in your bed and believe whatever you want to believe. You take the red pill - you stay in Wonderland and I show you how deep the rabbit-hole goes. Enjoy your red pill bartleby.

Yes! Enjoy your red pill!
Yeah - Roth is great. I just had a small issue with one of my props. He got back to me by email quickly. Offered to send a replacement, but I need it too quick so he gave me the info to fix it myself. All good. |

Ha! I think the Red Pill analogy is apt. Thanks folks.

I've had nothing but great experiences with Outlaw and Rick. When I had an issue with one of my purchases, Rick took time out of his day to meet with me personally to get it sorted. I know that wouldn't be possible for everyone, but the fact that he suggested it and made himself available meant the world to me, and you won't find a nicer, more interesting guy to talk to over coffee. I only wish I had more money to throw at him.

I'm eagerly awaiting confirmation of shipping on one or two goodies from Outlaw.
I've read the comment before & it's true... It's worse than waiting for Christmas when you were a kid! |

I, too, have taken the red pill, and couldn't be happier with Rick and Outlaw. The Departed is now the centerpiece of my act, and I'm having fun evolving my old acts with treasures like Ash, Luna, and the WA (waiting for the witch box to go with that one). Rick has been awesome, even including me in his brainstorming for future Outlaw effects. His service and responsiveness have been great, and I have a feeling a good portion of my 2015 magic budget will be spent with Outlaw...

If you want real fun come work with me a couple weeks. I like the remotes stuff and usually disassemble mine to get it. Implant a couple remote items in a cadaver and when the Wake starts the fun begins. It is amazing what you can get a cadaver do with a few Outlaw products. Also have created some new business from the older mourners. Seems their heart just couldn't take it when Uncle Fred blinked his eyes and moaned from the casket. After all, FUNerals begin with FUN.

I bought the ultimate witches box that comes with the little bell but wanted to also use it for my two RS books. Rick had the box enlarged so that I could fit both RS books inside. The box looks great and the bell rings spooky. Ray |

Rays cloths are great and as they are a crib hidden in plain sight it makes doing the routine very easy.

Ray did me a REALLY BIG favour with my cloth, highly recommended and the cloth actually helps create the right atmosphere IMO.

Another tribute to Ray's cloths as I wanted a crib for WA and Ray had a cloth that had just the right overall look, style and ease of use I was seeking!

Thanks guys for talking about my cloths. Marc, has a one of a kind cloth that I will not be making ever again, well maybe one just for me.
I have been in talks with Rick on having the WA cloths placed on his Outlaw site. Got my fingers crossed. I can't really say what Outlaw item that I like best. I love the dark tarot and my ultimate witches box made to fit the RS books is great. Ohhh.... I wear the ring ever chance that I get. Ray |
