I perform Card Frame in my show with a signed card. For years, as I go to take out a bag of rubber bands my patter is "I have a bag of VERY DANGEROUS weapons !" The kids laugh and say "They're not dangerous!" I then proceed to show them by pulling on the rubber band and letting it snap back at my fingers as I yell "Ouch!" etc

Today I started thinking about what ELSE I could pull out of the bag before the rubber bands. Two things that will be obvious that they are not dangerous, just to get two more laughs in the show. Now take in mind it will be a small opaque bag that is large enough to fit a handful of rubber bands with some room on the top for something like 1) A little pink flower, which the kids will laugh at. "Well this NEXT thing is REALLY Dangerous boys and girls!" Then pull out a - - - - -????? The kids will laugh again and say that its not dangerous. Then pull out the rubber bands and do the snapping thing.

Any ideas that will be really funny??

How about a diaper? Might encourage "potty talk," but that would certainly get laughs. From parents too

Would a mouse trap fit - pretend it snapped you. Little toy shark bites your finger. Then the opposite, like a bunny and you run screaming. A photo of, forgot his name, that famouse young male singer that's a jerk?

I use the mouse trap that snaps my hand. I then go back into the bag and pull out my mouse I got from Bob Little. The mouse is alive and running and jumping out at the kids. The kids LOVE it! I then find a place to drop the mouse and step on it.

With the flower you could say yes it's dangerous because every time I hole it I sneeze then..... Sneeze, and I hate sneezing.
You could say let's see what else is in hear putting your head in the bag and coming out with a sock in your mouth but don't notice it.

I'm with Harris on this one. Pickles get laughs every time! It's a funny word. I often just say it randomly during my show. "The red wand goes into the secret hiding place. The yellow wand goes into the secret hiding place. The green wand goes into the pickle. Wait. What did I just say?"

Well, I do a square circle bit where I produce all kinds of crazy stuff, and I had to keep experimenting till I found the right mix of stuff and the right order, so it may take some experimenting, but you know that. Hey, maybe I'll add a Justin beiber doll to my square circle bit myself! You can buy one for me while you are at it to spare me the embarasement.

At the end of a vent song, I have "Nigel" hold a note for a long time.

Depending on my audiences or my mood, I hold it for 15, 30 or longer.

Yesterday, it was much longer. Got feedback that my red face made the bit funnier.

How about a tissue? Take it out, and when they say "that's not dangerous", you can say, "not like this it's not but ( and sneeze into it) uhg, how about now?" you can even show it around. One side could be clean, and after the sneeze, turn it around with some yellow from a high lighter.

You could do the same with a sock. The smell is deadly!

You know what would be funny (I think)? Pulling out a tissue and saying "That's not scary," then going to throw it into your magic case but it sticks to your thumb (like your glue from your Xmas wand). So have a TT stuck to a Kleenex and you have no idea it's sticking to your thumb. The kids scream and tell you it's sticking and you freak out when you see it. You've never said the word "snot," but wow, have you implied it.
