Tom Magliozzi - cohost, with his younger brother Ray, of NPR's Car Talk - passed away this morning from complications from Alzheimer's.

RIP Tommy.

I was sorry to hear this.

…And surprised that I'd been hearing re-runs for two years prior.

I saw a post on Facebook that it was Click. I listen to the show every Saturday that I can. I was also surprised to learn that the broadcasts were all re-runs. I hope in spite of Tom's death, that the show will continue to be aired.

Fun show. A model of how to disseminate useful information in a non-boring way.

I'm listening to this week's program now. I had wondered how NPR might handle this, and I'm happy to say that it is being done in the most wonderful way. I am sure this must be very hard for Ray to do, but a great way to honor his brother.

R.I.P. Tom Magliozzi.

maybe some of the information seemed useless (like the color of a car, in settling a spousal argument); but Tom and his brother never treated it as such; and they made it very very funny. Lynn
