Took my wife to see Kreskin ... He says he didn't hypnotize her ... But he did.
BTW ... She herself doesn't know anything about hypnotism and doesn't remember it at all. Still demands to see the pictures. She isn't lying. What did Kreskin do to my wife?

He didn't hypnotize her because according to him " it doesn't exist". Just like her memories of the whole event!
I never understood that line unless it was to avoid insurance liability or to create controversy.... Its like Mugging someone then telling them it doesn't exist. "It was just social compliance that made them hand over the wallet the gun had nothing to do with it!" |

Like Kreskin I have never hypnotised anyone. But plenty of people believe they have been hypnotised by me.

Maybe you just believe you haven't hypnotized anyone and that they just pretend and fake amnesia? that's one hell of a belief.
My belief about Kreskin is that its is or was part of his attention seeking publicity. Quote:

Just so you know, I'm not Kreskin, not even the real fake kreskin! though that is a great book..

Yes ... It was the same show and I'm STILL BAFFLED!!!! I've read a lot about Hypnotism and purchased several educational DVD's.....AND at one time Kreskin claimed to be the worlds youngest hypnotist.
But knowing all of this I'm still wondering. My wife remembers little or nothing. The president of the IBM took many photo's and we have intentionally NOT shown them too her. It's almost an experiment now. We are going to show her the photo's soon and see if she remembers anything more. My wife wouldn't play along and lie about it, which is what I one time thought many did ....However I'm confident this is not the case here. So what DID HAPPEN? Quote:

I do not agree that amnesia is normal in a 39 year old person.

Its not "normal" I agree its an "altered state" but it is natural. No drugs were used.
Hypnosis was used -- you know that thing that doesn't exist?.. It doesn't exist to the point where it appears in every sentence even those that claim it doesn't exist. Maybe they have just hypnotized themselves to not see it. Or they have other agendas by making these claims. |
