The colour changing deck has been a classic effect in magic and never fails to get great reactions from spectators.
Dave Loosley has studied this plot and taken it to a whole new visual level. With Mystique you will be able to create an eye popping moment of magic your audience will not want to miss. Includes- Gimmicked cards, Full explanation DVD with alternate handlings for beginners to intermediate. Presentations for both, in the hands and tabled performances. The DVD also explains how to construct the colour changing card box if you want to add that kicker ending to the routine! Imagine having a card selected and signed by your spectator. The card is replaced back into the deck. Now instantly and visually the deck changes colour. Leaving just one odd backed card in the pack (your spectators card) Looks pretty good. Anyone have this? I have it, it's a very well thought out, visual routine, easy to do, fast reset. Angles are good, you arent left with a regular pack, although you do have a lot of cards and could go into a packet trick etc. but that's the trade off for such a visual trick.
I like it, and will use it. |

Looks nice indeed. The box change is rather obvious, unless I seen it wrong.

It IS obvious, but it's not part of the main effect, David only offers it as an addon (bonus)

This is so spooky!
I have genuinely, hand on heart, performed this with blank faced cards in my routine for around 2 years, and it's one I've never shared though so I know it's never come from me. I came across it by accident when I bought a blank deck. I don't use it as an open or closer, I usually go onto coins after, or back to the case for another deck, whereas at least with this version you could switch out and continue with a blue deck. That looks like a really nicely polished up version... I hope it doesn't take off so it's all MINE MINE MINE!!! Of course I'm kidding! Really well priced too, I'm considering it as Peters videos are usually top notch, so I know I would certainly learn something new from it. |

So what if some of the cards become damaged, water on the table at a restaurant, or whatever.
Do I have to buy a new Mystique or can I replace them from my back-up of gimmicked cards?
Guilt will betray you before technique betrays you!

Hi DavidPaul,
You can easily obtain refills for this effect should you require them however the cards you recieve if looked after will cover you for many performances. Regards Dave Loosley |
