So --just for you-- let me rephrase myself. I can't do it with the written script and it be 100%. It's too minimal. Now, that said, there are a few specific words in a few specific places which will bring this to a much higher success rate (by making it much clearer to the spectator.) Sure, I cannot say it is 100% success, but it will MOST DEFINITELY give me more success than the original script. Does that clear things up for you? |

So when I test it next week fully, I will modify the script slightly to pretty much guarantee success. With my thinking, it will literally be impossible to fail. You would have to have a spectator who just doesn't care or doesn't try at all. It's still the exact same method, just with a different script. Make sense? I know it's confusing if you haven't purchased it because I purposefully have to be a bit cryptic. |

I'd love it to work. But it is using an extreme version of an established technique in a slightly different context, and until we test it I can't see how we can possibly know if it is pure gold or gold-plated t***. |

The fact that I got a review copy means absolutely nothing. It doesn't chang my view on it at all. I don't think you're understanding what I'm saying (subconsciously or very consciously.) I KNOW my improvements will make it work better because I took what mistakes were made the first time by the first person and made it impossible for anyone to make those mistakes again. There are really only 2 mistakes that can be made with the original script and I have the solution for both. So I can say without a shadow of a doubt tht mine will be more successful than the current script. Possibly even 100% (because there's only one answer that is possible.) |

Maddy, I would now say you are drifting perilously close to exposure.
Any force of this type is a delicate balance between, as Peter Turner would say, r********** without seeming r*********. I cannot see there is any way you can be sure you have got the balance right without first testing it, in my opinion. |

Let me just say that Maddy really did my day brighter.
I think every author should be grateful to a guy, who take author's creation and make it even better, by applying his/her own creative genius on it. With that being said, me and Pablo both agreed, that after Maddy's testing, his thinking will be additionally sended to all buyers and will be included in a honored place in the ebook. Thank you very much young man, Ulrich |

Ulrich,
You'll have to forgive me if I now find it hard to take you seriously. Less than an hour ago you wrote: "Me and two of my friends very succesfully road tested this effect before releasing it, on friends, on family, on strangers and on clients, that paid for the performance. I wouldn't offer anything I personally haven't tested and know it works." Now Maddy has tried it once, which you describe as "testing", has re-written the script and you are now prepared to abandon your own months of testing "on friends, on family, on strangers and on clients, that paid for the performance", on the basis of a single test by Maddy!?! I'd like my money back please. |

Martin,
calm down please. Yes, we road tested it and it IS working, for us. My success rate is about 9/10 with my original script. But when someone makes something even better, add something little, that can make it even better, shall I act like "I know it all" and ignore his good thinking? No. He did not re-written my script, he added his own lines to it. I do not call one test as testing my friend, there is a function on Café - personal messages, where you can chat with an user privately. I did this exact thing with Maddy and he told me, that AFTER his testing (notice the word "after" in my previous post), he will provide me with his additional thinking and script. Understand now? |

If you don't mind me asking, how many times have you tested Maddy's new script?

I told Ulrich I will provide him with my idea after I fully test it and make sure it works as well as I know it will. Because I believe in testing a product. Unlike you, I go out and try products I buy (or even get for free) if they don't work as planned, I don't throw it away and ask for my money back. I use the brain I was gifted with to figure out what I can do to improve it and make it work more efficiently. You're trying to stir up trouble and confusion. Just sit tight and wait it out. Once I have tested out my method many times next week, I will report back here to post about my findings with my small additions to the script. |

Take a look at the sentence.
Maddy told me, that he came up with an idea that can make the effect hit more times. I was happy and grateful, I always appreciate creative (not destructive Martin) approaches to effects and my thinking. Do I have a reason to think he is lying to "show off" before all the guys who are reading this thread? No, I know Maddy, he is a clever chap and I trust him. Now again, take a look at the word AFTER. AFTER the testing (if it will be succesfull, which I presume so), we will include his thinking, that deserves to be appreciated, to our ebook. What does not make sense to you? |

Martin. Calm down.
Alright, that is my last post on here for now. I will report back once I've completely tested my ideas. Ulrich, thanks for trusting in me! We will be in touch very soon. And again, VERY clever idea |

Maybe Martin is tired of ideas getting dreamed up one day and released as ebooks a week later.
Don't know about Ultich's effect. Maybe it's great but this thread doesn't exactly inspire confidence. |

Martin is a smart consumer. Maddy is also smart to find solutions to Ulrich mistakes. But ulrich is a creator who does not put enough thought before release.
Mindblowingly, Charles |
