The intended effect was perfect! Brilliant! I am RARELY fooled. I cannot tell you how thrilling it is to see a coin trick and have NO idea how the hell he did it! That's Mickey Silver! That is Sleight Of Hand at its BEST! Smile

Angles and angling aren't bad at all.

Ironically , that was pure sleight of hand & I find that effect very difficult to do....no camera trickery what so ever. Those magicians who know me and have seen my moves in person, certainly know the game. That video was 11 years ago Smile

Mickey loves pure sleight of hand. No camera trickery. Rarely uses gaffs. I did see him use a t----b t-- to vanish a cigarette for a layman about 10 years ago. Smile
He's amazing.

I think what they meant, was that this bit is only suited well for a camera. Or perhaps very few spectators, and a minding of angles.
But I agree with Tim, it's still a cool vid. Creative thinking.

To be honest Mick, I tried this myself after seeing this video a while back. ;0) Only played with it a little, just messing around, but I give you credit for getting it as smooth as that looks.

The bit with the razor and coins in the hand is by far my favorite video of yours.

Keep doin your thing brother...

Mickey,

You were kind enough to send me your retention vanish demo CD a few years ago, and I've watched it countless times. Unbelievably cool vanish. I've been working on my own retention vanish but it pales in comparison. When oh when are you going to release a teaching video (or book)? We all would jump at it.
