Samantha,

I don't know what most of those things mean (yet):-P. But they sound interesting. Any chance of telling me what OCR and JW mean? Also, what is the Tenkai pinch and flurry? I'm thinking I can look up the other stuff. Thanks!

I'm having a brain freeze at the moment and can't remember what the french pop is.

Could it be where a coin appears under a finger tip as you touch the table top?

OK, I know how to do the French Drop. It was the first thing I learned:). But I don't know what "3 Fly" is:-P. Keep 'em coming! Soaking it all in (and writing notes for the stuff I can't soak):).

However, the part where he throws a coin across and nothing has happened makes absolutely no sense without patter. It would normally be along the lines of "you'll see it go this time! Watch! *throw across* Did you see it? But it hasn't happened yet".
I posted that video though for the French Pop.

I'm gonna suggest you stay away from 3fly and spellbound when you first start though. Both of them involve keeping an extra coin hidden throughout a multi-phase routine, and the sleights occur at exactly the same time the magic happens, so needs to be VERY smoothly performed.

Stick to a standard in the hands coins across to start with. Look at "three and three" in Bobo's coins across section for a basic idea of a coins across. It uses sleights only taught in the first 3 chapters of Bobo. It is a very good trick to start thinking about once you are comfortable with the holds and vanishes.

That sounds pretty awesome as an effect! Also, I love your little things at the end. I'm sure Sinatra enjoys them as well Smile

Thanks Jamie-boy! I can't find that one in Bobo - at least not under either of those names. Is it in there?

Cheers!

Not in Bobo's. The "3 Fly" effect is by Chris Kenner from his book Totally Out of Control. *Also you should check with Jon Townsend here as to Fingertip Coins Across, as he pretty much started the whole thing which evolved into 3 Fly, or something like that. Smile

The French Pop is a Geoff Latta thing. Eric Jones uses it in one of his routines as a part of the ending to a gaffless 3 fly routine.

It is actually a simultaneous vanish and production of a coin. These both happen at the same time and when you look from the vanish to the production oit creates a visual flicker or pop that looks like a camera trick.
