Hi, dear friends and colleagues,
2 years ago I did a lecture about magic at the conference called PechaKucha - kind of TED conference (every speaker has 6 minutes to tell about something interesting). Lecture got very positive response from general audience and magicians. Lecture was in Russian, I wanted to translate it but then I decided to develop the ideas and start a videoblog. It will be focused on magic, its history, philosophy and meaning. The ideas I am going to share are not particularly innovative, everything has already been said by people who have much more knowledge and experience than me. But my aim is to promote the art of magic and I believe it is always good. I think there is still a lot that can be done to imrpove the image of the art in the eyes of the general public. So this is my small contribution. Here is the first video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1DdRYt-V89g&feature=youtu.be I would be happy to hear your comments (critisism always welcome!). And of course, if you like it, try showing it to some of your non magic friends:) Best regards, Alex. |
