I really like the Judge (especially the polymer "public defender" model). The only problem for using it as a CCW is that it is both very heavy and very bulky. Talon makes a pretty good IWB holster for it though that I really liked. I think a larger framed person like myself could carry one every day, but it would still be more uncomfortable compared to many other options out there. There are also several pretty bad azz defensive rounds made in .410 (3 nice size bearings, 3 copper or brass discs followed by some small buckshot... and a .45acp is nothing to want to face) The main thing I liked was the versatility. Load your first 2 rounds of a .410 shell of your choice as you may be less accurate "in the moment" then fill up with .45's for some better placed "thug stoppers".
I honestly think some day in the future, I may get one to have just at home as a nightstand gun (as well as a no brainer addition to by "SHTF-bug out bag") A few years ago, I had a friend show me a 2 shot Derringer that was chambered for .45 or .410 and I would LOVE to get my hands on one of those

Just when I felt all set, I run upon ads for the Taurus Curve. This will be hard to resist, unless it is longer that other pocket pistols...
Also known, when doing rope magic, as "Cordini"

From what I got from the vids I saw (as I was considering this gun), The light and laser are "efficient" on par with inexpensive aftermarket combos but the buttons are cheap and a bit difficult to operate. It also comes with a clip like you would find on a good pocketknife to secure it to you waistband when concealed. This is placed where the gun rides real low and you almost have to push up thru you pant leg to help draw it out. other that these there were only a couple other negatives and several positives like the trigger cover safety and low recoil, shoots well... As I feel about almost everything, I like to stay away from the first gen and let them work the bugs out a bit. But, it does have several positive reviews and is a neat gun to add for someone who collects guns. According to most every review I saw, the shape does not affect aiming or operation in any way.

I really like my Glock 42 (.380...don't own the newer 43 in 9mm, which I hear is also good). Most of the shorts I wear have pockets that are a bit bigger than those on my standard blue jeans, and the 42 drops right in.

Sorry. Thought the gun thread would be the best place to make a post without creating a thread of my own. It's for a friend's short film. It needs to be untreated, i.e. extremely flammable.

The largest I can find is 8×5 feet. I need a flag that can be recognizable in deep background while on fire. Please p.m. me if you have a source. Thanks!

Quote: Sorry. I'm not the filmmaker. I'm providing the soundtrack based on Blind Willie Johnson's "Dark Was the Night, Cold Was the Ground". I've been playing the tune for four decades and have expanded it quite a bit. It was used in the movie "Paris Texas" as played by Ry Cooder. It's out of copyright so we can afford it! I told the filmmaker I'd help looking into finding a big enough flag. It's a shot that is in deep background so it has to be large. Thanks for any help!

"Dark Was the Night, Cold Was the Ground" is part of the Golden Voyager Record, launched into space in 1977!

Thank you! Any help is greatly appreciated! I love your dancing banana too. That is so cool! It reminds me of a really good joke: "is that a banana in your pocket or are you just glad to have a banana in your pocket?" Hahaha, I love that one! Thanks in advance for any help you can give me in finding a HUGE Confederate flag! Thanks!

True story: I once put a banana in my back pocket and forgot it was there. Until I sat down. Everyone laughed when I jumped up. Sheesh! Some people will laugh at anything! I didn't think it was at all funny. It felt funny but not in a funny way.
