Apologies if this is the wrong place to post this.....
Can anyone recommend a book which has a deep section of routines or is dedicated to utilizing double backers and double facers please. I just started performing Paul Currys 'Touch' from his wonderful worlds beyond book and would love to explore these gimmicks further. |

Encyclopedia of Card Tricks has a chapter on each. Good place to start although your search shouldn't end there.

There's a good book called SBS (Same Both Sides) which details tricks with a double-facer that is... wait for it... that's right! The same on both sides!

Thank you gentlemen,
I'll look into the encyclopedia chapters, I've downloaded the 'S.B.S' book too, thanks Steven. |

Any recommendations for books which have chapters dedicated to these cards. They seem so versatile but I can't seem to find too much on them....

It's not a book but Dan Harlan's RnB Dvd / download is very good with some excellent effects using a red and blue doublebacker

There's also the book compiled by Julian Franklin, called "The Double-Backed Book of Card Tricks Using a Double-Backed Card." It is actually a two-sided book where one half is tricks with double-backed cards and the other deals with double-faced cards.

Magiguy, any idea on where to pick up that book? A bit of googling didn't turn it up for me.
Thanks!

Hey Poof daddy, I found the same thing but was hoping someone might know where to purchase a hard copy or ebook version. I'll probably email Julian and see what I can find out.

Mark Wilson's Complete Course in Magic is not only a great book but has a dedicated section on double back and double face.
