Wow. Two, possibly THREE threads about all this. I wish Bob's PM system worked. I understand why he would NOT want PMs though. So, we argue, banter and wail about something we can do NOTHING about. Sad for us...

Sad that you feel so disempowered, Doug. There's lots of room for creativity in terms of reclaiming that power that is promised to people in a democracy. But you may have to look beyond electoral politics.

You're right, Landmark. Looking beyond electoral politics, it's the HUMAN factor that distresses me. Here we are in the 21st century, and people's mentality is just above the ape. ALL people. Myself included. Hey, even I could be pushed to violence. Those that know me have a chuckle at that. I'm as non-violent as they come!
My black friends are angry, my gay friends are angry, my female friends are angry, my YOUNG friends are angry. All over different issues. We have black-on-black violence, white-on-black, white-on-white. Who GIVES a sh!t what ***-.damn COLOR the skin is!!! Who made that rule? What were they thinking? Here we are looking for extraterrestrial life out in our Galaxy. Yeah? What if we FOUND it? What if THEY found US? Humans. Ya look different from me, I shoot ya. Humans.
