Looks like Looch redigned his whole web site recently... very nice

I had a question asking about the large amounts of text redacted (blacked out) These sections won't be redacted in the actual book, it's to give the reader a sample of the material in that particular chapter.

Yes I get the redacted concept - tease a bit.

Quite a number of people have signed up to my newsletter on the footer of my website. This is a different newsletter group, used to contact my clients at shows. When you add your email for the teaser chapter password, you automatically are added to a special 'The Black Project' list that will be notified of updates for the book. At present I have manually added those who subscribed to the wrong newsletter.

Disappointed that out of 400 downloads, 7 thought it was ok to download the teaser and immediately unsubscribe from the list. That's very telling of that tiny minority out for something for nothing.

The Black Project was something I first told some peers about in 2004, it was an idea for a huge book and I'm so excited to now be in the position where I know it will soon come to fruition. It is not just a book of effects, it's a 10 year journey that gives the reader explicit insight into how I transformed from an enthusiast hobbiest into one of the busiest ''Mind Readers' currently performing in the UK.

I am sharing everything I have learnt in the past decade, things that went well and more importantly things that went wrong! Strategies for getting high fees and regular clients and tips for maximising every opportunity you could be faced with. The Black Project really is the 'real work', because it is my real work... Everything in there is a direct result of my actual experiences within the Mentalism world, both from a performing point of view and a business perspective.

I cannot wait!!

I highly respect Looch. He is a great creator and importantly a working pro. This will be an epic release.

One of the things Looch and I had talked about in regards to this book was a DVD (included in with the book) that offered the chance for visual learners to see some of the routines in action, as well as for the construction of certain things to be demonstrated rather than simply explained with text and illustrations.

The reason I'm posting here is that we also talked about including an interview portion on the DVD, where specific questions that you might have could be put to him - sort of making this an interactive book - you get to ask questions here, and we'll do our best to see that they get answered when we film.

Having said that, I'd like to find out what questions you have for Looch. I want to make sure that the questions that get put to him are of the best quality, offering the most opportunity for others to gain insight into how he thinks and works, and so I think I'll limit each person to only two questions.

4.8 for me is one of the best pieces of mentalism I ever bought due to its simplicity and such a well thought out routine, if anyone doesn't have it and are waiting for the book I recommend that wholeheartedly.
