Just a heads-up that there is a 60% off sale at http://llepub.com/

I just purchased a bunch of Paul Diamond videos plus the L.I.N.T book, JC Wagner's 7 Secrets, and Larry Jennings Neoclassics.

Enjoy!

Thanks for pointing it out! I just purchased Vol. 2 of Joshua Jay's "Close Up, Up Close" and Vol. 1 of Richard Osterlind's Mind Mysteries for a total of $27.96, which I think is quite a deal.

AND...... ITS OVER AGAIN. The thing I liked most about it (both now and back when they did it around Black Friday/Cyber Monday) was, that was the ONLY time the 3 Swain books have ever been on sale since they have been on the site. Everything else gets up in the rotation pretty well but the Swain books must be a different deal. I already had 21st in hardback and I bought Don't Blink (full price cause it was cheap enough when it hit the site) it was nice to round out the collection during the first 60% off sake with Miracles With Cards. Between L&L ePub, CARC and Trickshop.com I have a very nice library.all tucked away on my iPad mini w/retina display. It is so nice to have while I am in the hospital (refusing to pay $5 a day for TV) and while I sit for hours between Dr visits. I try to schedule several in one day to save gas money, of course right now it is below $2 a gallon in Ohio Smile $1.879 yesterday Smile hope it lasts a while.

A great deal! I picked up Larry Jennings "Classic Magic" and J.C. Wagner's "Commercial Magic." on that promotion. Had I waited a month or two, I could have saved a couple of bucks on Alex Elmsley's Collected Works, but I got them both @ 50% off anyway, so I really can't complain. Smile

Sale is back on as early black friday sale. Could we hear some top recommendations from the L&L catalogue?

The Trost book is a good one, Bannon's Impossibilia, and the three James Swain are also good. The David Regal Premise, Power and Participation downloads are really good too. I was a Regal fan before, but I picked up PPP volume 2 last week and loved that.

Like you, RJ, I'm interested if anyone has other recommendations among the L&L titles. They have a ton of good stuff on there.

Impossibilia is a steal. 2nd hand copies can be hard to come by and much more expensive.

I think you should get it. It's a killer deal for any price, certainly for what it's currently being sold at. There are about 20 of Swain's card tricks, 9 amazing sleights( separate section for these sleights, don't count the ones being taught in the middle of tricks) , 10 tricks by other masters of the trade AND 4 gambling routines. This is a LOT of good stuff by any standard. Get it, you won't regret it.

Another steal there are the Guastaferro videos. I remember getting Brainstorm 1 & 2 together when they first came out, and those remain among my very favorites to this day. Brainstorm #2 is particularly fantastic, with loads of great effects. One Degree gets a lot of praise, and a lot of those effects originally appeared on the brainstorm volumes. Second Storm are great too, just not AS great as Brainstorm.

Many thanks for the responses. I got the 21st century Swain book, and it is really good! I will look at the videos also.
