Now that I am aware of Richard Sanders, I do fiber optics, extreme burn, turbo stick and maybe even inter lace if I get it set up right. This guy has changed how I do magic.

Fly Drive which is #18 from rmendez is a great prop and never got the attention I think it deserves. It's pretty much flown under the radar, which I guess is good for rmendez and myself.
Although I did have to take a dremel to mine so I could use an American quarter.

And thanks for reminding me of The Bar Cup, it has always been my favorite chop cup. Haven't done a chop routine in ages though so I guess it's time to break it out again. One of the few instances where the prop is not only truly beautiful yet looks very natural as well.

The Bar Cup goes without being said and is my preferred cup in bars or on the streets!!! Fly Drive is the ultimate ring finale and is vastly underrated in my professional opinion!!! It is the only impossible location that spectators never guess because it looks like a common object that everyone can wholeheartedly relate to. Never ceases to amaze and astonish!!! Everything on my list comes very highly recommended!!!

My best purchase are my magic books - I have collected hundreds over the last ten years - however it is only now that I realise how good the magic within them is. On my early reading of these books I wasn't impressed (I couldn't see the magic) - However my second best purchases are my Magic DVD's (e.g. Penguin Live Lectures and any DVD by Jay Sankey) - here I could see the magic - and guess what - a lot of this stuff was already in my books - I now go back to these and to refine the detail of what I have seen on the DVD's - I really struggle to find the magic in reading a book alone - its only when I see the art being performed that the value of what is in the book hits home - My favourite books - Paramiracles, Mitox, A piece of my mind - to name a few. Do other people struggle with seeing the "real art of magic" reading books alone.

I have been performing mentalism for many years and the three items I have used the most are:

Fogel's Second Spot (bought a long time ago from Supreme Magic.) There are far more deceptive bags in other versions but these have served me well for 30+ years.)
Michael Murray's Between the Lines. This just suits my style and it always gets a strong reaction.
A set of coloured ESP Cards (again bought and manufactured many years ago by Magic Christian.)

It takes 4 to 6 minutes for the brain to die without oxygen. I can fix anything in that amount of time.

I've been in magic for 7 years, so I think that I have to choose my best purchases since I started.

Books:
-The Complete Works of Derek Dingle
-The Classic Magic of Larry Jennings
-The Essential Stewart James
-The Complete Walton vol. 1 (I do not have volume 2, and the volume 3 I do have it, but haven't read it)
-The Collected Almanac
-Jennings' 67

DVD:
-Utopia by Dani DaOrtiz
-Magical Sleight Season 1
-Modern Intricacies by Yoann
-Enfin Le DVD by Bebel

Dowloads:
-Grace by Bebel
-An Underground Legend by Bebel
-Magic in Mind by Josh Jay
-East Meets West by Josh Jay

Live Lectures (online):
-Michael Vincent (Penguin Magic)
-David Williamson (Penguin Magic)
-Jared Kopf (Penguin Magic)

Best lectures (not online):
-Gozner (in every single lecture he teaches new top notch material)
-Fenik
-Helder Guimaraes
-Howard Hamburg
-Martin Eisele

Lectute Notes:
-Helder Guimaraes
-Martin Eisele
-Baltazar Fuentes' AREMPI (I haven't read it, but I do have it and heard great things about it)

I'm sure I'm forgetting some more, but those are the ones that come to my mind now

I just read most of AREMPI and I LOVED Phantom Kings, a very strong effect. Imagine this: You show the four kings in your hands, then you change them to aces, then you take out three kings from different pockets and you change the four aces to the last king! And for a killer ending, you take out the aces from four different pockets. Love it love it. Very natural, there aren't any weird moves.

It is kind of an Ambidextrous Travelers, but easier, and in my opinion is stronger.
