I am a close up card performer. I think Little door by Roddy Mcghie definitely deserves the criteria.

Invisible Paint by Creative Magic - Most used prop I have ever owned Bigger Wands by Creative Magic - Tied for first place with the Invisible Paint! Dagger Head Chest - Use as a comedy routine and have had a blast for years. Money well spent |

Hi,
Thanks for this mrpiper. I was wondering, doesn't the Dagger Head Chest require an assistant to put this on? Thanks |

Hello Glenn, I am a gospel illusionist and have used a "Dagger Head" for years. In short, no, you can do it all alone very easily with a helper from the audience. I always choose my "Victim" ahead of time before the show. If possible I choose the person WELL ahead of the show, like at the time of booking. I look for a person who the audience knows like a youth pastor or a teenager who is well known around the group I am performing for and explain to them ahead of time that they will have their head in a dark box for about 5 to 8 minutes and tell them what the illusion is and how it is performed. I NEVER accept a victim who is not excited and eager to help. Some people are claustrophobic and can not tolerate the illusion.
If you are interested in HOW I use the illusion and some basic patter that is appropriate for a lot of comedy byplay with a strong Bible based message, let me know and I will gladly share with you via PM. |
