Hi all:
Wanted to share with you my upcoming performance in Delhi, India at the prestiguous India International Center: http://www.iicdelhi.nic.in/home.aspx?ReturnUrl=%2f%3fq%3dnode%2f187%2f&q=node/187/. Safe to say that I gotta be the first mentalist to give a talk at the IIC. Just in case any of you happen to be in Delhi on Jan 6 -- would be great to see you there! PS: Also wanted to share with you a high profile endorsement I received at one of my recent, past performances: "He may not be psychic, but Apurva Sanghi can read people, thoughts and human behavior like a book, and he does it with style, wit and confidence. His shows and talks will astonish you, puzzle you, and make you wonder what you are unconsciously revealing all the time. See him: you'll believe it!" - Thomas C. Schelling, Nobel Prize in Economics, 2005 Cheers, and a v happy 2015! Apurva |

Good luck performing your "Exceeding expectations".
Is this the same as having a talk at TED? Also, "He may not be psychic, but Apurva Sanghi can read people, thoughts and human behavior like a book, and he does it with style, wit and confidence. His shows and talks will astonish you, puzzle you, and make you wonder what you are unconsciously revealing all the time. See him: you'll believe it!" - Thomas C. Schelling, Nobel Prize in Economics, 2005 Is a beatiful way of descriping what people will experience at your show. |

I'm jealous! It must be wonderful performing for such high-end audiences. Mine usually are sloshing red-cups or flipping boogers at their friends.

Thanks Tom Mortimer and Sean. This is indeed quite an experience. And Tom, I too have had my share of sloshin' red cup audiences. In fact I started almost 30 years ago doing street magic on Venice beach in California, where it suffices to say, I have had some unique performing experiences and spectators. That is also how I earned $ to put me through college. So from that to now where I get to have the luxury to pick and choose my audiences, and focus exclusively on mentalism, is something I really treasure and value! Of course, there have been so many who have influenced and helped me along the way, some of whom are active in the Café such as Uncle Bob; Eric Samuels; Richard Osterlind; Ian Rowland to name just a few...
PS: Sean, I have started doing your "Ode to..." for smaller audiences and it's a superb routine. Thanks so much for releasing it to the community! Cheers, Apurva |
