Hello and happy New Year!
I want to start 2015 with a little competition for you all. I will be releasing my memory-effect called The Rain Man Glimpse. It’s a stand-alone PDF and was supposed to be part of my upcoming book but the writing of the book got postponed due to life events. I have received several PMs asking for the release of The Rain Man Glimpse and eventually I thought I could just release it as a stand-alone and let the complete book wait. Here are two reviews: http://www.themagiccafe.com/forums/viewt......orum=218 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ EFFECT The mentalist claims that he has an extremely good memory and to demonstrate it he ask one participant to write, draw or scribble any kind of information on a business card. He turns his back and the participant draws a lot of small drawings, she writes a bunch of different words and continues by writing a lot of numbers in order. When the participant is satisfied, she places the card face down on the business card stack and the mentalist turns back around. The mentalist turns the card over and look at the information for one second and then gets the card out of view, away from the stack. Now the mentalist picks up the stack and starts to remember what he just saw, he starts to write on one card in plain sight and amazingly - he manages to replicate all the information, at the same location and in the same order as the participant’s card, they compare the two. They match precisely! The mentalist proved to have an amazing photographic memory. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Rain Man Glimpse will be released after the competition is completed, it will cost $7 Now let’s talk about the competition shall we? The Prize is The Rain Man Glimpse but also Romeo & Juliet (a routine you can read about in the linked thread) and another routine which is yet to be decided. What is the competition about? Well, I am thinking of my favorite character from literature, a hint: they made a Disney movie based on the book. The first one to say the name of the character wins! You are allowed to ask questions but I can’t assure you that I will reply to all of them if they are too revealing, also… Two guesses a day i.e. don’t spam one thousand names. That’s it! I hope you will take part! Kind regards, Johannes (John) Effect: The mentalist memorize any kind of information in less than a second. $5 |

I can't answer that question because I see the character as a typical antihero but many would disagree with me. Effect: The mentalist memorize any kind of information in less than a second. $5 |
