Yea and for a magician the saddest part
is knowing how the magic happens.But the best part
is seeing someones face when they have just witnessed
a wonderful effect.

Great article. Sometimes I find it hard not to share my secrets because I want the kids to have as much fun as me when I perform them. I am good very though, I repress the urge lol. I often wonder if out in the audience is sitting the next David Copperfield, Tommy Cooper, Robert Houdin or Jonty the Magician... Smile

There's only one Tommy Cooper! I can attest to that because once at a magic convention, I tried to do a tribute to Tommy by replicating a lot of his routines. Failed miserably!

I love doing the crash move to the ninja rings from the Matthew Garrett DVD - because even though I know how it works (yes, really!) it STILL looks like magic to me - which is GREAT!
