Here is a little more detail on Close Up Q&A by Anthem Flint:
The video opens with a 5:32 live performance with Anthem and two beautiful young women. The live performance is followed by one hour of instruction, covering every detail of how to learn, prepare and practice the routine. You need only cards/billets, golf pencils and a rubber band to perform this. No envelopes, no wallets, no clip boards, boxes or other props are needed. This is about as simple and clean as a method gets. Anthem credits many people throughout the program, and suggest lots of other resources for additional learning - all of which are appreciated, none of which are needed to perform the routine. I've found once you are bitten by the Q&A bug, you never want to stop learning. I bought the download version, which is a little over 2GB. Paid with PayPal and almost instantly had the download link in my in box. If you've always wanted to do close-up Q&A, GET THIS! |

Thank you BlakeAdams. I'm glad you liked it!
I got a great review in my email from Tony Razzano and he asked me to share it with you. "If I had to use only one word to describe Anthem's Close Up Q&A, I would say 'Masterful' ! Although the principle is not new, the handling is. This is well thought out and very effective. It takes a little practice, but it is well worth it. The entire routine fits in your shirt pocket. If you are going to do walk around, you might want to bring some extra business sized cards with you as shown on the video. It comes on a DVD or a downloaded video. It is a little over an hour long because it is very thorough. The DVD is $30.00 and the downloaded video is $25.00. Well worth the price. I highly recommend this!" P.s. "This reminds me a bit of Cassidy's name and place, but there are significant differences. Enough for me to say that it is a different routine and method. Hmmmm. a 19 year old guy who thinks like Cassidy! Could not be better!!!! Big thanks to Tony for the kind words! The dvd and download will be going up in price eminently because the introductory price is just that, introductory. The down load will be 30 dollars and the dvd, 35 dollars. A huge thank you to all the early adopters and reviewers. I really appreciate it. blessings! AF |

Sorry! I was informed that it wasn't on the sale price that it was supposed to be, so I fixed it. Now it is on sale. I'm also going to check and see if any of the other products need to be fixed. Because of this, I'm going to keep the sale going for one extra day.

Hey all,
So I took the plunge, that being said, I met Anthem a while back at Magifest and we clicked instantly because he shares a real passion for the subtle aspects of reaching people in our art that I really love more than any methodology talk. My verdict...awesome! I am actively planning on using this material and buying Q&A Revolution as well. I am really impressed that at only 19, Anthem just "get's it" so naturally. I am in no way placing myself on a pedestal when I say that, I am still very young myself and have A LOT to learn about the nature of our art, so that being said, quit reading this and check out his site to have a really strong piece of social marketable mentalism. For the sale price of $30 you definitely cannot go wrong. I purchased this a couple of nights back based on what I had read and pure curiosity. I was not disappointed. The routine itself is solid. However, should you choose not to perform the routine as presented, there are still many useful bits littered throughout.

Anthem,
Close-up Q&A focused on a presentation with two subjects. I like it a lot. If you do an update in the future, I'd love to see your handling for working with one person. I use Q4U2 (version 1, if I recall correctly) from the Roy DVD, which is wonderful. |

Hi everyone, I just got home from the blackpool magic convention and I'm so glad to hear that you've been enjoying my dvd.
First, to address woodfield, I am Rea sorry about my site not working properly. I've noticed this problem in browsers like opera and Firefox. I use a site creation service and so it's not in my hands. However, if you'd like, you can send the current marked price to my paypal and we can take care of it that way. PM me if you'd like that. In Other news, I'm getting on a cruise ship on the 7th of March. Because of this, all my products will go up in price significantly. I have updated the prices on the site and you can see what kind of prices I will be changing them to. I'll be gone for two months, BUT first I'm throwing a goodbye sale and I've marked all the prices super low! Just letting you all know! Peace and love! AF |

This is for Anthem, and for other creators. I will be buying this, because I think I could perform this very strongly on stage. It seems to suit my style of mentalism.
However if this was a PDF I would have purchased it without even thinking, and would have been willing to pay the full $50 it will go up to. I would never pay $50 for a video download or a DVD. Just saying. I would love to see creators returning to the old idea of putting their thoughts on paper. Or if they have to do a video, do the written version as an alternative. Not a criticism, just an opinion.

Couldn't pass this up, so just hit the Ppal button. The value offerred, reviews here and a wish I have had to renew my exploring all Q & A, especially wanting to have something for small group amd close-up, made this a "no-brainer" for me.
Thanks Anthem for the great deal, too. Best wishes for a fun and prosperous cruise!

The positive reviews above are totally validated! I found the dvd outstanding for quality, thoroughness, clarity and detail. The quality, structured layout and content of this dvd is better than many for which I have paid twice the amount!
It is amazing that Anthem has the presence, breadth of knowledge and outstanding contributions to make to the Q& A subject at his age of 19! Although I had the same hairstyle, length and "stache" as Anthem at about age 30, I was just transitioning into mentalism from many years of mostly close up magic and I had nowhere near the sophisticated understanding, range of ideas and knowledge as Anthem demonstrates for this superb close-up Q & A routine. The extra tips, suggestions and ideas to adapt the method to other uses(although not a new basic method in this routine) is worth way more than the price asked, especially during this special "going away" sales event. This was my first purchase of Anthem's products, but will not be my last.

Thank you for your kind words docbenwiz, Jakob, and everyone who has left a little review! I'm really glad you like it!
I totally agree with Tonyb about books. I've started working on another book and I will hopefully finish it on the ship. I am really proud of my first book, pendulums, and I would love to write more. One of the reasons I choose video for Q & A is the fact that billet work is far easier to understand when you see it in action. I also think that we need to see Q&A performed to form ideas, opinions, and styles of our own. Nonetheless, I certainly agree that books will always be one of the greatest ways to share information and to learn. In other news, there's only five more days to take advantage of my going away sale! If you want to grab any of my products, now is the time! The website is www.anthemflintshop.com Thank you all, I can't wait to hear what else you have to say! |

However, I also agree that it is very useful to see a billet move demonstrated on video and to see demo performance videos of the effect. So ideally, I would like to get BOTH a written manuscript and a video. Some creators have done that with their releases and I think it's the best of both worlds. |

I bought this because I like to support up & coming talent. There is no doubt that Anthem is certainly that. Very young, and very talented.
This is an excellent instructional video for someone new to Mentalism, or indeed, someone who is nervous of performing a Q & A.. Although I don't agree with some of your theories on Q & A, I think the routine you demonstrate is solid and as I stated, definitely a worker for someone who hasn't done a Q & A before. I will PM you the details of the Mentalist that created the move you refer to. It wasn't Jeff McBride, or indeed, Bob Cassidy. All in all, great to see someone so young presenting a routine like this so well. Keep yourself together and you will go far. Robert.
