Hey guys,
Just a heads up that this just came in today, and it is VERY nice! Hocus Pocus is offering it with Free Worldwide Shipping. http://www.hocus-pocus.com/magicshop/?p=28786 There is a video at that link along with a lot of pictures. It is nice that it comes with 13 logos, so you can pick which type of car the key is for: Audi, Nissan, Seat/Fiat, BMW, Hyundai, Chevrolet, Mazda, Opel, Honda, VW, Mercedes, Toyota and Mitsubishi. Let me know if you have any questions, Cole Hocus Pocus Here is the full ad copy: The Ring Flight Revolution is the first ring flight to lock in place once retracted, allowing the spectator to remove the ring, it is designed by a professional magician for professional use, it is smooth, silent and extremely durable. Each is individually handcrafted to such high quality, that it comes with a 2 year warranty. The Ring Flight Revolution comes with a DVD explaining the gimmick, how to perform it, how to maintain it and how to fix any problems you may have with it. It also comes with a Lobster Clip, an S-Biner Clip and spare abrasion resistant line. The DVD also includes Dave Bonsall's Full Lecture, which features the Ring Flight Revolution and lots of other routines. This flip key comes with a selection of 13 different kinds of logo, you get a choice of the following logos: Audi, Nissan, Seat/Fiat, BMW, Hyundai, Chevrolet, Mazda, Opel, Honda, VW, Mercedes, Toyota and Mitsubishi. Just choose which one you want, peel off the sticker and stick it on. |

Ever so often you see an effect advertized only to find out that the method doesn't work for you once you buy it. However, here we have a video showing exactly what you are buying - even down to how the string locks and unlocks. All those would be important to the professional magician, and I fully applaud the courage to create such transparency. There is of course an inherent issue with exposure, as it is available to laymen, but that's another discussion. For now, I nominate this as the best dealer video ever.

Let me also add that the creator; Dave Bonsall's customer service is arguably the best in the business. The RFR is amazing and worth every penny.

This looks like a great product. After many years of doing the trick, I had given up on Ring Flight because (a) nobody has ring cases like the one used in my commercial version of the trick, (b) I was nervous that the questionable quality of my equipment might lead to lost or damaged diamond rings, (c) I did not like the clasps I was able to find, and (d) the heavy duty fishing line in my unit was hard to keep invisible. This product addresses all these issues. However I still will borrow a girl's wedding ring but not her $30,000 engagement ring.
I often work without a jacket. Does anyone know how Bonsall's routine works in this environment?

Hi Jim,
You are going to want either a jacket or an unbuttoned, untucked shirt over a t-shirt - that might be too scruffy? Best, Tom |

This looks REALLY nice.
And a demo that over seven minutes long? It's basically an instructional video! Can't get any more fair than that.

RFR is a great product and I recommend it.
Those who like that effect should also check out Fly Drive. http://www.harryrobsonmagicshop.com/fly-drive/ It's a similar effect but requires no reel and can be done in shorts and a T-shirt if desired. So that's an advantage to Fly Drive. Another is that the reset is super quick and easy. A disadvantage is that you are limited in size to what will fit in the compartment within the key fob, so no signet rings or the like. But this may be offset by the fact that you can also use a signed coin. Which is nice if no rings are available or they are all too expensive and fragile looking. Not saying one is better than the other. Just different tools to get the job done. But Fly Drive has never received the attention I think it deserves so less folks are aware of it. So I only mention it for those who may have had it fly under their radar. But each product is a worthy investment IMO for anyone wishing to perform this type of effect. |

I've had mine for at least a year, probably two. It is an excellent unit, looks totally natural, allows you to let the spectator take the ring off the clasp, and Dave is great to deal with.

RFR hasn't left my keychain since I bought it, and it's always a highlight effect at every walk-around gig I do.
And Dave Bonsall, hands down, has the very best customer service in the business. A great creator as well as a real gentleman. |

I bought one a couple years back and loved it. After my warranty ran out Dave still fixed it for me for free. He has the BEST customer service ever. Not like some magic makers that show one thing give you another and then never talk to you, kinda sounds like a one night stand. Dave's the kinda guy that takes you out to a nice steak dinner and then acts the gentleman. Buy his products.

I want to second the comment on Daves customer service. I bought mine secondhand on the Café and when I had an issue he immediately helped me out. I've had several amazing conversations with Dave and he's always been incredibly helpful and replies ridiculously fast. Best customer service in the business!

Are you not afraid that the ring will get scratches or get something worse? We can clearly see the ring being retracted quite fast and bumping into the metal parts (keys, etc) on the key ring. Is this something you really can do without any concerns on all rings?
