I am interested in the Zellman System but I find it a bit unusual that several different websites on the internet offer different kinds of Zellman System. Sometimes even a different price (ranging from 3 to 3,5k dollar).
How can I be sure which is the 100% correct website/product. And more importantly, since this is a very expensive purchase: Is there a way to contact Mr Zellman personally by mail or phone? I found his account here on the magic café, but he was not active for years as it seems. Also the email adress which is shown in his account (AntonZ) doesn't work either. I dropped him a mail a few days ago and 2 days later I got an automatic error message. Since there are still things open which need to be claryfied before spending 3,000 Dollar I want would like to speak to him before. I found no information on the internet so far and I hope someone here can help me out. To show you what I mean by different Zellman systems: http://www.mastertradeshowsecrets.com/ http://www.zellman.com/zellmannsystem.htm There were even more websites like those. They also looking all very alike, just with a bit different content. Also on the "Zellmanuniversity Website" you can find a contact button, but once you try to send something by using this, an error message appears... --------------- Besides this Iw ould like to contact Mr Marc Paul personally via email or phone. Can someone provide me with information here? This is also regarding a product of his. Unfortunately he, just like Mr Zellman are not active on the magic Café. And on his offical website, the only contact info I found is "Talented Artistes Ltd". So far, if I had some concerns or questions regarding products from Marc Mason or Nicholas Einhorn, Richard Sanders etc I had the opportunity to exchange mails with them and it helped a lot with my orders. I really hope this is possible for Mr Zellman and Mr Paul as well. Regards, Markus

Anton is the REAL DEAL and his system is NOT some 'course' or 'info-product'. This is HIS LIFE'S WORK all laid out for anyone to take and apply to their hearts (and wallet's) content! - Anton has gotten paid MILLIONS of dollars to do what he way too generously reveals in his tell-all cataloging of his real world success!
Forget the many millions he has made for a moment and let's just assume he could show YOU how to make many hundreds of thousands (which is VERY doable) with what he blatantly shares in excruciating and exacting detail! Try getting hundreds of thousands or even millions of dollars for ANY investment of lass then $50,000.00 (Fifty THOUSAND) Dollars in any market accept trade shows or speaking... sure won't fine that kind of return on investment in the financial markets or any other so-celled profit instrument... THIS IS A KILLER DEAL! Anton is one of the two or three Top (earning) masters in the entire world in this industry... you can take his word (and EXPERIENCE) for it for sure! Hope that helps some... The email doesn't work either. Its becoming ridiculous...instant error message. Any other way to contact Mr Zellman and or Mr Marc Paul?
@TheDean, unfortunately your praise did not really help, as it was not covering a single point from my opening post. I would be happy to hear some more from you, regarding my questions and concerns. Have you had any experience so far, e.g. did you purchase the System for example? All the best, Markus

The point is Anton is retired and seems to wish to not be contacted. He checks in here ocassionally and if he chooses not to respond or has his email addresses terminated it should be respected.

Well I certainly do, but then he should not have his Zellman System still on the internet with contact buttons and email adresses. My prior concern is that those different sites are scams. How can I be sure which is the correct system before spending 3000 dollars?

Most of those are old affiliate sites which he likely has nothing to do with and little control. You must remember this course is what 8-10 years old now?
There are old websites that old agents, booking reps and companies had of me from over ten years ago that are still up that I have absolutely nothing to do with, but simply have no control over. Remember, you can't trust everything that is on the Internet. |

You might try contacting Anton through his LinkedIn account. I have the Zellman materials and can support Dean in that they are invaluable for a pro interested in working in the tradeshow and corporate markets. They encompass the inside details on how he moved to the top of the tradeshow market. That said they are not for the weekend warrior or casual performer. You must have the appearance, presence and gravitas to comfortably travel and perform in the corporate arena.

I had the pleasure to meet Anton at one of Eric Paul's events a few years ago and, although now retired, he certainly is the real real, having worked to the top of the trade show field during his career. I'm always surprised, however, at performers wanting to break into the national or international trade show market without having any experience at this type of performing at even the local or regional level. I recommended in my original Success in Magic Course that one first get experience locally at a business to business show or consumer show. Work with a local company, barter if you must, but book a local show and start developing your trade show act. Use the opportunity to determine if you like that kind of work, and, as important, if the market likes your act. You may have to work a few years locally or regionally polishing your act before jumping into the national or international market with a trade show act that can earn the kinds of fees most magicians dream about when they first think of working trade shows.

If anyone wants to get in the trade show business, all they have to do is do their homework. there are or were 3 very good trade show book written by the top trade show people in the U.S. Buy them study them, put together an act, then develop your trade show pitch and personality. Buy 5 high grade business suits, get a hair cut, learn to talk like a business professional. Stand up straight, be very clean in appearance and personal hygiene.
Then the part that is not ever published, where and how to prospect. Look to not actually get any work for at lest a year or two. These are booked a year or two to a year and a half in advance. Know your script by heart and every gesture and word you will say. You cannot "wing it" in this business. The bigger the company the longer you will have to wait for your check and per diem payments, for up to a year. So the only thing you may get up front is a plane ticket and an hotel room. The rest is on your dollar until the check comes in. I would say you can get trade show work right out of the gate, if you like working none stop for 8 hours a day for up to 5 days a week. You can take a lunch, but no breaks as such. You would be doing the same 10 or so tricks over and over, with company information. You need to know what a cliffhanger is and how to use it in your magic. Of course you have to produce leads, so you have to have a "people personality" and know sales and how to turn potential new clients over to the sales staff. Tricks: Chop Cup, sponge rabbits, My favorite Rope Trick, Card to wallet, Linking Rings, 3 Shell Game, etc. No finger flinging, no fancy moves. Funny playing card discoveries. I will give you two of the best sources on trade shows, Dick Ryan, and Eddie Tullock, these guys were the best in the field, they were the pioneers. https://www.stevensmagic.com/shop/dick-r......mvl-dvd/ http://www.llpub.com/zenshop/index.php?m......_id=2035 If interested in the 3rd, PM me, as his name escapes me right now and I would have to dig out the book. |

Don Alan worked the Hospitality Suites more then in the isle stopping traffic style in Trade Shows.
Yes, I was describing the isle Trade Show performer, there is two other types the Hospitality Suites and the Opening Day Stage show extravaganza put on by the Association that manages the events. |

Yea Don did a lot of both. But he did indeed work a lot of the suites after. No doubt.
There are a lot of moving parts to that industry. That is true!

I found the book laying right in front of me, the other person's name is Bill Derman, he wrote an excellent book on working Trade Shows and even gave his line for line patter. No one heard of him, that is because he stayed away from Magicians. If he seen a magician in the crowd, he would stop his presentation and take a break. He did mostly card work. I believe the book can only be purchased from him. It was published in 1992.
Oh, and my post was magicians that wrote books on working Trade Shows, not those that worked them. There is a whole huge list of Trade Show performers that we could mention. Mike Rogers being one of them that did not advertise this fact until he was no longer doing Trade Shows. He is the guy originally made the mini Base Balls for the Chop Cup and Cups and Balls. He published a book through Magic Inc. and was heavy contributor to many Magic Magazines. Again, he did not publish anything on Trade Show work. And of course the famous Paul Gertner, who broke into Trade Shows the more difficult way, starting with low fees. |
