Gentleman, make your predictions. Who will win the Superbowl this year. The New England Patriots or the Seattle Sea hawks. What will the final score be?

I predict that a strange young man will run across the field completely nude throwing playing cards at everyone..
Okay it's not really a prediction I'm just telling you what I'm going to do! |

Just to keep in the spirit of things, be sure to deflate your balls first.

Hawks by a hair in the final seconds. The rest of the game will be an ugly slugfest with sporadic moments of brilliance by both teams.
Now appearing nightly in my basement.

Last year the real championship, to my mind, was the divisional game between the Hawks and the 49ers. Best game of the season, IMO. And last week's game between the Hawks and Packers was one of the best games I've ever seen in any season. I just hope the Superbowl isn't a disappointing anti-climax to a great year. |

I think Seattle pulls it out in the end with another dramatic two minute TD drive featuring a scrambling Russell Wilson and a punishing Marshawn Lynch. Kinda like the NFC Championship game. |

I've already sealed my prediction inside a Sara Lee frozen poundcake (I know! It's incredible!), but since we're all colleagues here I'll share it with you: Seahawks down by 1 with seconds left, suddenly a guy comes running down from the stands he tears off the long linen duster he's wearing to reveal a Hawks uniform he jumps over the barricade the cameras focus in and OMG it's Jim Zorn! .... I don't want to reveal the whole story but trust me it's worth waiting for that poundcake!

We faced a record setting offense and nobody respected the Seahawks (nobody ever has). That beating we gave them was as much a statement as anything - and let's not forget that a few years ago on Monday Night Football, Peyton led his team to one of the greatest comebacks of all time. The fact that we didn't give them a snowball's chance in hell of coming back spoke volumes. That beatdown sent the message that the Seahawks had arrived and demanded respect. And this year, the media finally gave them a little. Was it a little boring? Not if you liked watching Mike Tyson fight Hurricane Peter McNeely. Best, Atlas |

I definitely agree that we sent a message. But compared to the game the week before against the 49ers, I think it was a bit anticlimactic. Especially since the Bronco's meltdown started with the Bronco's very first play which resulted in a safety and a Seattle lead within the very first seconds of the game. By halftime the game was well over and it was clear that Denver was in shambles and there'd be no comeback. Manning's expression looked like shellshock.
As a long time Seattle fan, I would like to see that happen again, just to punctuate the message. But as a football fan I'd like to see a well played game by both sides. (As long as we win. ) |

I predict that there will be a commercial that revolves around the implication of fornicating for the first time...a guy will even say that the first time that he did it was with his parents and that it was kind of awkward but that it made them closer together...you will even see a woman doing it in the commercial...after you watch the superbowl and the commercials, let's see if I am right...
Not sure if I will be right...these are just some thoughts in my head right now... Regards, Mike |
