By most successful I mean what has become a part of your everyday show? What was a keeper? What single element raised the level of your entire show?
For me it was: 1. Adding a puppet routine (for years I avoided it and procrastinated, but you were all correct. It really adds a whole new dimension to the show.) 2. Pro-Viper Snake Basket. I find it more difficult to add new quality routines the older and more experienced I get. So, I’d love to hear what some of you have come up with!

1. I'm with you on the puppets, I added 2 that I use all the time with ventriloquism and it's fun to do, adds variety, and the kids really like it. I'm going to do more with puppets when I get around to it.
2. Misers dream. I avoided it because so many people do it, but people really like it. I haven't done anything original with it yet, but I will. 3. I added a really fun square circle routine about 3 years ago, I've been making improvements asd I go, and that's been working out great, though it takes up more space than I would like and takes more time to reset than I would like. 4. I invented a trick( sort of a utility device) to go with a routine I already do, I'm not quite done making it, but I think it should work out really well.

Been doing vent & puppets for years.
I have added vent without a puppet, such as talking to "Nigel" on my Eyephone. This works well, especially when the audience has already met him at previous gigs. Another bit, I have been using more is to have Nigel, make remarks from behind a prop. He's been placed there in "Time Out"

For me it was the addition of a Miser's Dream routine. The reaction that this gets is extraordinary. Wish I would have added it sooner. My routine is pretty standard but was inspired by the Chris Capeheart DVD.

A very nice story telling routine with a very large square circle. My rabbit routine using a few different boxes including Loughran's Creaure Shock Box.

I would also say combining Tommy James Comeback Bee with Chance's I SCREAM. Great responses.....

For me it was developing a bit of ventriloquism. I now have four puppets (not all in every show!) and they are the highlights.
Next strongest routine was a pocket hanky routine that I love. Next step is to work on the classics - misers dream and egg bag.

Ultimate Control. It has made my use of music ultra-smooth. Best features are: I can pre-set the volume level of each track. Also, when a track ends, I can pre-set the device to either continue and play the next track, or to set itself up in pause, ready to play the next track when I hit the button. And if desired I can also manually fade any track. The UC has been absolutely reliable, and has never let me down (unlike many other remote controls I've used in the past).

Adding a backdrop was I think the most impressive addition to my show. I get strong, positive reactions as soon as I set it up. I don't think most of my birthday party clients are expecting it and it really does make the presentation of the show look more professional. Yes, it's something extra to schlep around, but it's worth it. I use it even in shows in small living rooms or recreation rooms with low ceilings.
