Dear friends

Can anyone advice the origin of this effect please
“It’s not what you do that matters, or even how you do it;
it’s what the spectators perceive you as doing that matters.
That’s the MAGIC they’ll remember.”

No idea but a great effect. I would like to know the origins too.

Kind of neat to watch, but I think it screams "trick cards" to all with even the slightest clue about such things.
The overly careful handling, the spreads only showing 1/4 of the backs/faces at a time, and the quick jerky motion when they're turned face up to make the jumbo card face all reinforce that the cards can't bee freely handled and that a lot is fishy.

I like it, and the handling could be smoother, but I think it screams 'trick cards' . Not sure where it originates, but the big card finish has been around a long time, just not tacked on to a 'twisting' effect.

It really does scream trick cards.
