I actually knew that...the C-121. Very beautiful plane. I only knew because the EC-121 "Connie" was the first Airborne Early Warning plane...a forerunner of the current E-3 AWACS. Back when I was stationed at Chanute AFB in Illinois, they had an EC-121 on static display, and once a year they'd open it up and let you go inside. Most of electronics were stripped out, but some of the original scopes were still in place. They were tiny...maybe 10 inches with analog readout (i.e. old time car odometers). Really amazing technology for the time...
