I hope it is the best marked deck ever! I've been working on it for weeks!

This is definitely my most ambitious and painstaking project yet. Designing 54 individually marked cards with the same level of artistic quality you expect has been difficult to say the least.

Nevertheless, it is almost ready! A marked deck like none other! Beautiful and classical in design with a hidden marking that has fooled other magicians!! But, is also easy to remember since there are no patterns to memorize or complicated "clock faces". I hope to have this ready within the next week to ten days.

What do you think?

How does it compare to heirloom, medival deck from card shard?

Will the deck be aged?
The performance is what really makes it all worth while.

A labour of love! Bravo! It's a beautiful looking set.
How will the stock feel?

The decks will be high quality stock and have a "linen finish". Although the deck will appear aged, it will not be additionally aged, although you are free to do any artificial aging yourself it you like. Aging techniques other than the art design will affect the ability to create effects based on hand dexterity.

As far as Card Shark, I have seen but never handled a deck from them. They look very professional in quality. Mine is a premium 310gsm casino quality card stock plastic coated (linen finish), origin of material from France. The linen finish is the same as many professional poker cards and helps prevent "slippage".

Are the marks easily read for people with poor eyesight ?

Although different from other marked cards (no patterns to memorize) they are no easier to read if you have poor vision. Unfortunately, this is a flaw in all marked cards. If the trick is too large and obvious, well, it is obvious. If there is a marked card that you have tested with poor eyesight, I would like to see an example. The product is not finished yet, so I can still make changes.

Dark Dawn had a great M**ked system. Right out in the open and easy to read. Not exactly a "traditional" back, but very cool Smile

Agreed, the Dark Dawn is one two or three decks I feel comfortable reading in performance situations!

I see. That is very clever. It is hidden under the guise of aging. The only issue with me is, and this is very much a nick-pick mind you, is having to memorize patterns. That is something I want to avoid. Magicians have to memorize enough already. Even a simple system can be nerve racking when you're tired, performing and under pressure.

Otherwise, it is an awesome effect. Outlaw Effects has always excelled at the highest quality products anywhere. Like I said, I was nit-picking. The Dark Deck should be a part of any Bizarre Magician's effect collection.

Thank you. Cody Stoltz did a great job on the original art. It is sold out! Smile

I absolutely do like the look of your deck though Smile

I'm a Dark Dawn owner...I love 'em! I look forward to seeing, or perhaps not seeing a few sample shots of your marks.

The easiest marks I have seen was on the carnie elite tarot. I can see them without glasses from 3 feet or more.
