Check out Lonseal (www.lonseal.com) they make a commercial sheet flooring that looks like Diamond Plate in many colors. They also have quite a few other designs. It will do curves and last forever.

Tpax, are you thinking of "finsihing" a wooden prop with this to make it look metal? Or is there some other use you have in mind? Looks cool either way.
Magic is like Science,
Both are fun if you do it right! |

Because it is a commercial flooring it will resist chips, scratches, dents, most scuffs,. I used to represent the manufacturer and have seen this used on walls and floors as well as countertops. They have flat steel looks as well that could add some visual zing to the right props. Cool stuff you should be aware of if you build props. |

The biggest issue with vinyl flooring is that it's heavy. You could easily add 70 lbs to a prop by using this rather than a thinner laminate..
There are a TON of laminates and finishes out there... I think that vinyl flooring is about the LAST one I'd use to finish a prop |
