Arthur
You have the correct guitarist. Randy was in THIS band before joining Ozzy. If no one gets it by tomorrow afternoon, I will post the answer. Good luck.

It would be pretty easy to post something obscure that nobody would probably get. It's kind of hard to post something that you think is fairly well-known and still stump most people. Some of these I've had no clue but some I should have gotten. Taking random lyrics out of a song without the music can make it difficult to recognize. For instance I should have known Magnus' post of Stage Fright by The Band but I drew a blank. All the ones I've posted I thought someone would have guessed. I guess it's all in one's perspective.
Anyway, back to the game. Lay it on the Line - Triumph Let's try another Canadian band. 'Cause you gotta blame someone For your own confusion But I'm on guard this time Against your final solution |

It's Lunatic Fringe by Red Rider. I don't know if it got much airplay outside of Canada.

That's got to be Stonehenge from the Spinal Tap movie. Not exactly a rock song in the true sense of the word (i.e. not a real rock band). But what a funny movie! Every one of those disasters and awkward situations that befalls the band, has happened to me.

Ozzy Osborne crazy train.
The halftime air was sweet perfume as the Sargent played a marching tune. We all got up to dance But we never got the chance.
