Now THAT one I got, Daryl! "The End" - Beatles.

He lives in his own heaven
Collects it to go from the Seven Eleven
Well he's out all night to collect a fare
Just so long, just so long it don't mess up his hair.

I have played this song in cover bands more times than I care to remember. I'll let someone else get it. It's almost mandatory in dance bands.

Rebel Yell - Billy Idol

Sinatra was swinging
All the drunks they were singing
We kissed on the corner
Then danced through the night

I had to look it up too.

There is a funny reference to the band in a "Kids in the Hall" sketch on the death of rock and roll.

I also had to look it up. Come on guys, to be fair you're got to pick tunes and bands the general world populace may be familiar with.

To be fair to Gregor, the band was quite popular (although after my time). Remember that period when middle school/high school boys were going online to select obscure garage bands as their "favorite" band? And then when the band became "too popular," they looked for other, newer bands. That was back in the heyday of napster.

Ok,
super easy to do a quick turn

"There must be some way out of here" said the joker to the thief
"There's too much confusion", I can't get no relief
Businessmen, they drink my wine, plowmen dig my earth
None of them along the line know what any of it is worth.

All Along the Watchtower -- Hendrix

"She comes around here
Just about midnight
She make me feel so good, Lord
I want to say she make me feel all right
Comes a-walkin' down my street
Then she comes up to my house
She knock upon my door
And then she comes to my room
Yeah, and she make me feel all right."

Gloria - First recorded by Them. Written by Van Morrison. Recorded again by many.

Here's a fun version with Van Morrison and John Lee Hooker.

Your eyes, I say your eyes
May look like his
Yeah, but in your head, baby
I'm afraid you don't know where it is
The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere
The ceremony of innocence is drowned;
The best lack all conviction, while the worst
Are full of passionate intensity.--Yeats

Take a listen, it is a great song
But their real masterpiece (personal opinion) is a song called "Thousand are Sailing"

Does anyone have a guess at Opus' lyrics?

LOL. I gave up and googled. It's a VERY famous song from the 70s. Two word clue "Find me...."
