LOL! OK, I had to look it up, too. Never liked this band, except for one of their hit singles.

Huge clue: the name of the song is the same as the name of a prior song.

Somebody to Love - Queen

I like a lot of their songs. And Freddie Mercury was a helluva frontman.

A broom is drearily sweeping
up the broken pieces of yesterday's life.
Somewhere a Queen is weeping,
somewhere a King has no wife.

For the record, the only Queen song I ever liked was "Another One Bites The Dust." That, at least, had a rock feel to it. Everything else was a weird mixture of schmaltzy Broadway-type melodies combined with multi-tracked guitar lines. Another thing that bugged me about Queen was that there is no way the other 3 band members could have replicated onstage that humongous vocal choir, so prevalent in their repertoire. So they obviously either played live to taped tracks, or someone offstage triggered those pre-recorded vocal parts from a keyboard or computer.

Sorry, Mojo! Back to you:

The Wind Cries Mary -- Jimi Hendrix

Daryl used this song on page 16.

You must've hated Todd Rundgren.

Yeah, Opus, I didn't like him, either. But I must confess, during my last world tour with Peter Frampton (2005 thru 2006), we performed two of his more recent songs to some pre-recorded tracks (mainly added percussion) to bolster the overall sound.

Breathe--Pink Floyd

There is nothing fair in this world
There is nothing safe in this world
And there's nothing sure in this world
And there's nothing pure in this world
Look for something left in this world
The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere
The ceremony of innocence is drowned;
The best lack all conviction, while the worst
Are full of passionate intensity.--Yeats

Ha! That's Billy Idol's White Wedding. (We just had a Billy Idol one not too long ago).

Whatever happened to all this season's
Losers of the year?
Every time I got to thinking
Where'd they disappear?

I had to interrupt and stop this conversation

I think it's Blondie, but no song title comes to mind.

I think you've hit on something there, Magnus. But I can't think of a title, either.

Hanging on the Telephone!

Man. That shouldn't have been that hard.

Here's an easy one.

She picked me up and sat me on her knee
And said, "Dear boy, won't you come home with me?"

Here's mine. Pretty easy I figure. Still gets a lot of play on the radio.

Well, I've never been to Heaven,
But, I've been to Oklahoma,
Well, they tell me I was born there,
But, I really don't remember.
