I have found that gimmicks made with Euros (20/10) require MUCH more careful handling owing to the colour of the bills going right to the edge, i.e. there's no white border.

Y'know, did this as a simple bill change at the weekend, from tenner to fiver and back again [switched]. Couldn't believe the reactions. Brilliant.

Woo ... I was so late to join the topic ... After seeing 10 pages of extreme discussion , I've placed an order for this ~ Will be constructing mine with a plastic note and see what it turns out to be !

I,ve watched the dvd and think it's great.
Does this work with the new 5 and 10 euro notes? |

I'm not asking this because of the colour. The new ten and five euro notes are stiffer because they use a different ink.

They feel very different now. Almost like plastic. I'm a bit afraid to build a gimmick because of that.
But I think I'll give it a try next week. Looking forward to play with this awesome gimmick. |

I made the gimmick with a new 10 Euro note and it works perfectly.

@marc yes they are still made of paper but they are using a different ink which makes them feel a bit weird.
@bluesmagic: that makes me feel comfortable to make a gimmick. Thanks guys. |

I decided to try something with the Canadian plastic money changing it into a US $1 bill. The advantage here is that the folding of the plastic money is much reduced. Had to use a non-see through section of the bill. Here is a short video of the change. Please be kind - I am just a hobbyist and this is my very first magic video.

So .. I just got this today and I must admit I overestimated my knowledge of how to fold plastic bills haha ... Spent around an hour building the gimmick using two plastic bills , three rounds of careful ironing and scorching , finally the gimmick was out . I played around with it and immediately fell in love with it , I like the visual change in the spectator's hands especially . The reaction I got was needless to say : astonishing ~ For the price you get 4 sets of gimmicks , I already made three sets today using different bills and papers and was so impressed . WOOOOOO ~

I only got enough to make three gimmicks which I think is the normal. You must have gotten an extra set.
