I was wondering if anyone owns the "Lebedev" hourglass - see http://www.lebanoncircle.co.uk/collectio......-edition - and could perhaps give a few impressions regarding the quality, reliability, ease of handling etc. I have Pangu Magic's Sands of Time, but it's a fairly tall thing, whereas this looks like it would be a more suitable size for me.

I couldn't find any reviews online - any comments would therefore be much appreciated.

It's a great little effect and works wonderfully, they're selling out as soon as they are in stock. Feedback so far has been great and I tested one and gave it the thumbs up before deciding to stock it on the LC site.

We also have some larger models coming out soon.

I'm sure a few Café members already have theirs so they may add a small review to the thread....

A larger one sounds great! Please keep us updated on that!
The performance is what really makes it all worth while.

Must say that looks very nice indeed,
I would like to get one when funds allow.

I just received my email from LC that mine has been shipped. Once I receive it and get a chance to play around, I will post a review.

When you say they are in stock, does it mean they ship from you, Dan? Or directly from the creator?

I would love to see this done with a remote...
I really like this effect visually.
Any more reviews or thoughts?

I have the small one - they are very nicely made indeed...the range with the gimmick provided is about 8-10" for me so far...works above and below if you see what I mean?

I hope no one was expecting a R.C. item for the price?!

Sturdy, quality prop..be warned though, that the hourglass itself is glass - and not plastic...

If you practice with using the gimmick, you can get it to slow down a little before stopping completely...
