No matter how bad things are one must never lose ones sense of humor.
If there is a single truth about Magic, it is that nothing on earth so efficiently evades it.

I am glad to hear that. First step in a long process is realizing that you need and can get help.

I know this is a reference to a science fiction show, but it made me feel better when I read it;

There was a post-it note on a locker that read; "There are 4 billion people on the Earth. I don't matter." to which someone had written on the bottom; "I've been to every corner of the universe and met trillions of people. No one "doesn't matter." The Doctor
"There's no time to lose," I heard her say.
"Catch your dreams before they slip away."
"Dying all the time, lose your dreams and you could lose your mind.
Ain't life unkind?"

Just out of curiosity, what are the gb's that you hunt?

GBhunter was title given to me by a fello photographer. I was photographing deer in the park, I saw a cute fawn and wanted a closer view to get the shot. As I softly approached I failed to notice the tree the fawn was resting against created a blind corner. Behind said corner were 20+ deer and none were happy to see me. As soon as I made eye contact with the deer there was a bunch of grunting and they charged. I ran like hell and actually jumped into the bed of my pick up. The deer dented the car in a few spots. But my friend thought it was so funny ge called me the Great Bambi Hunter! Hence GBHunter.

Well I said I would keep you up to date and here it is. I guess things are improving slowly. The pain will not stop as it is a result of two 11 hour surgeries and phisical trauma from the surgery. As far as the mental that has degenerated further, I need help from a specialist but cannot afford the price. I go for walks and try to do things that help to take the edge off. But my thinking is so badly damaged.I have embraced the fact I do not think like most people, but I hate when rDr use the phrase "you are special your thinking is not in the same facility as the box" I do not feel special quite the opposite. When I open my eyes I see a nightmare its hard to choke that down. I still cannot relate to people my age, not in person anyway. I know I'm different but from my point of view its not a positive thing. I still cannot sleep and this causes other problem. However all that being said I want to live, magic gives me the ability to talk to people who otherwise would not tolerate my existance for even a minute. It hurt so bad when I got sick and the very few friends I had just abandoned me when I needed them most...i hate them for it!!!
well enough of my whining, this thread is a catharsis for me.

Thanks

Hi Paul, thanks for the update and good to see you back here. Embrace the thinking if it doesn't lead to any self harm.

You are not alone!! though it might appear that way.
Just coming here will allow others to be able to say hi and offer their thoughts and concerns for you and your welfare.

I like the quote "rejoice in your uniqueness and consider every weakness something special of your own"

I think about everything and all the time and heck, even some of the folk here dislike me. Don't let anything stop you being you.

When I used to be up late 'thinking' I would write poetry. The human brain likes to hear itself, wether you say stuff out loud or keep it in your head, just like posting here, it's good for you.

Do you have anything on your mind at the moment you would like to share here or talk about??

someone put up this great youtube vid called 'riding the light'. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PBwnF4ZGs4s

It lets us all know how insignificant we MIGHT think we are but each one of use makes up the bigger picture.

Hey Paul. You got a favorite joke?
The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere
The ceremony of innocence is drowned;
The best lack all conviction, while the worst
Are full of passionate intensity.--Yeats

Person 1:Frank that's crazy!!!
Frank: No...Crazy is putting half a watermelon on your head walking around the city saying I'm a hamster.

I am reminded of Han Solo (Harrison Ford) in the first Star Wars movie (I'm old enough to remember BEFORE it was "A New Hope") chasing a couple of stormtroopers down a corridor and around a corner only to find they'd been joined by about a dozen MORE stormtroopers. He ran, very quickly!

Hello guys, its been a little bit and everyone here has been so nice I figured I should post an update. I am doing better,the physical pain is still terrible with no end in sight 😔. The only thing that could stop the pain could potentially paralyze one of my hands. The mental anguish has relented to some degree,I still have great trouble sleeping. All in all things are moving forward. I am terrified of how bad the pain will get. I am seeing a doctor I hope they can do somethinng to help. Spring has lifted my spirit somewhat as now I can work on my bonsai. Thank you to all the wonderful people who were willing to read my ramblings. Plus thank you for all the prayers and concern.

It’s good to see you are in good spirit. For the last few days I have had a little virus and I have wanted everybody to just go away and leave me alone. When I go I think I am going to be the most miserable man that ever lived. Smile
