It’s about 10 years I read this ad at Hank Lee’s:
Imagine borrowing any bill and causing it to float and waiver between your hands! This is just what you can do with Jay Scott Berry's Genesis! The bill not only floats, but it seems to come to life, mysteriously dancing in the air and flying almost out of reach! Finally, and without any suspicious moves, the bill is handed back to its owner. Genesis can be performed anywhere, from intimate close-up to stage, and under virtually any lighting conditions. This wonderful illusion is created without any threads and is instantly repeatable. Due to its versatility, Genesis can bring life to a variety of objects, such as playing cards, napkins, even a pack of cigarettes! Genesis ... capture the power! This is payback time, I swear I’m gonna buy it, unless you give me some clear indications against it. I’m not kidding… Hold me, I’M GONNA DO IT |

Does that mean you will let us know when you find out?

Jay teaches this on his first video. I think the effect would be a nice interlude for stage or parlor, but I wouldn't perform it close-up, as there's a gaff you must ditch, and restaurant angles aren't always so friendly.

Jonathan, sure I'll post my impressions (as usual...)
Darrin, thanks a lot. I'm still hesitant about this purchase, though... |

As I recall, I was disappointed with Genesis. I'm sure in JSB's hands it's beautiful but it's the kind of thing where routining and proper handling will make a huge difference. Consequently, I'd look for a video before you buy it.
Also, I've found Hank Lee's ads to be somewhat misleading in the past. He tends to represent the effect as seen from the eye of an extremely naive and trusting spectator sitting in the best seat in the house. Consequently, I've stopped lusting after the amazing stuff in his ads because I know that it usually doesn't hold up. With that said, if you do decide to buy it I hope you put the work into making it a beautiful effect. I felt I wasn't up to the challenge and let it sit in my drawer. Dave |

Thanks a lot for your input guys… I don’t trust Hank Lee as well, that’s why I always ask first. Well I’ll be going for the JSB video then…
