Hi all,

I hope you can help me.

I bought TRICEPTION (Bob Swadling & Mark Mason). And now the included NGF thread is gone.

Does anyone know where I can buy a NGF thread or something similar?

Many thanks for your help.

Best regards

Andreas

Have you thought about getting touch with Mark Mason?

Mark Mason sells it for about $10 (as of about a year ago anyway)

When you say gone, did you lose it or use it? I thought it was hard to break.

It "can" break (but not even close to the amount that the older rubber band type did) but I believe he "lost" the card with the extra (to repair if it does break) and was looking for a refill of the Next Gen thread. I have had mine for a couple years with no break but I did cut it and replace it once as I was worried it was opening too loose. Not to say it wouldn't have lasted for years more. I just went with the better safe than sorry.

OK, I was just wondering as I've never had mine break, if he went through the whole card I wanted to make sure I didn't do whatever he does to break it. I do understand it loosening up, and worried about it breaking in a performance. Kind of like replacing batteries before every show.

Wow. Good golly, man...what are you doing to that coin to make that ET break often enough that you've used up what they sent you?
I live in Florida and even the Florida heat doesn't weaken that stuff very quickly. In fact, I've sent it through the washer and dryer by accident and still it maintains its elasticity.
That said, the product used is available in some retail establishments; but I'm sure you've learned where by now, (I'm late to the discussion, as I don't get on the Café very often these days).
