Does anyone have an Anchor Beacon PA? I just bought a 7500U2 and was wondering if anyone had some helpful tips. It's operation seems very straight forward with solid and powerful vocal sound. It seems like it should fill an auditorium without any difficulty and the music should be solid. The built in wireless UHF mikes seem to be very clear with about 150' range. I've got a cable to try my Countryman e^ on the transmitter. The music is not high fidelity but seems perfect for my needs. With the weather improving today, I just tested everything outside but I have not yet used this in performance. Does anyone have any other helpful tips and experiences?
Thanks! Dan. |

Thanks! So far I am pretty impressed. Eager to get me Countryman e6 connected. You can't beat the set up ... especially with that kind of power. Have you needed to replace your batteries?

I never plug it in and have never replaced the batteries.
I have been using the smaller ones lately...the "Go Getter" Actually I now bring just one Go Getter for smaller than 90 people No plugs or wires...just two switches and I am good |

LOL ... That's what I was figuring. I'm using a set of bluetooth stereo speakers for shows <30; a MiPro MA-202 for crowds <75 ... and now the Beacon for crowds >75. Previously I used my Passport PD-150 for large groups but the Beacon gives me more power without running cables and tripods. I don't think that I will ever need, but I guess I could chain my PD-150 through the Beacon if ever needed.

I wish they sold it in UK. Anyone used a Mipro for kids discos, at least 100watts or a LD Roadman 102.

Me thinks John Pizzi uses one.

John is the person who introduced me to them. I has easily paid for itself in no time.

I think you need a special adapter to use the Countryman with their belt pack.
I know I have to use a adapter with my DPA headset mic.
