My brother recently made me a deck built with cards from all of the different casinos in Vegas (obviously, since there aren't 52 casinos, a few of them repeat). Every card is an Ace of Clubs, and in addition I have a set of Jacks and two Queens, all six of which are from the same casino.
He made it for me this way because I have an idea for a story about a bachelor party who loses the groom. The groomsmen split up and search up and down the strip looking for him, but no luck. They finally give up and head back to the first casino, and sure enough, there is the groom... with his bride... and they decide to do a Vegas wedding and get married on the spot. So what I'm HOPING for is that throughout the story the two black Jacks are groomsmen, the diamond if the groom, and the Q-diamond is the fiance. Then as the finale, they do their shotgun wedding and the bride and groom turn into hearts. The problem I'm having is finding a method... I just have no idea. I've tried so many things, but nothing is working. It probably doesn't help that the deck is very cumbersome, with cards clipped on different corners and what-not (but I LIKE that because I think it'll add to the nostalgia). Can anyone offer any ideas or help, or recommend any methods they think might work? Nothing revealing, just point me in the right direction and I'll head that way. Thank you so much, you guys. I really think this could be a really wonderful effect with a great story to go with it, but unfortunately I'm stuck til I find the right path. Thanks again! |

You might get some responses if you posted this question in one of the "Pick a card...any card" or the "Gaffed and funky" card forums.

Interesting idea....do you have card handling skills? From what you have said the card forums probably offer you more but there could be some spooky twists.
