Question:
I’ve had the pleasure to know and witness first hand some of the greats in card magic. My favorites would have to be: Larry Jennings, Bill Goodwin, Doc Eason, Jack Carpenter, Aaron Fisher, Paul Chosse, Alan Ackerman, Jerry Camaro, Tom frame, and Guy Hollingworth. There are others, of course. In addition, there are those who are well on their way to card stardom. In my humble opinion: Dorian Rhodell, and Joshua Jay to name but a couple. Paul's response: Jack McMillen, Charlie Miller, Ron Bauer, Vic Kirk, Dai Vernon, Art Lyle, Matt Corin, Ray Goulet, Steve Freeman, Milt Kort, Mike Skinner, Irv Weiner, Bruce Cervon, Bill Whittington, Gene Matsuura, Jerry Camarro, Frank Balcerak, Brother John, Don Alan, Ed Marlo, Gary Plants. And that's the short list! I limited my choices here to people I have actually spent time with and I am sure I have left out many more that I should name - oh yeah, Harry Levine, Jon Stetson, Rod Dee, Darwin Ortiz, John Luka, Roger Klause, Jay Bedsworth, Ron Bauer, Ron Bauer and Ron Bauer... It would take too long to list the very different reasons for each of these favorites - one at a time, maybe? |
