I'm not sure about the Chair Prediction but David Berglas did release his Newspaper test a few years ago in both manuscript and video formats. He goes a few steps further than Fogel did in his Headline Hunter effect which was published by Harry Stanley and later by Supreme.

I suspect all will be revealed in the Berglas book to be published by Jim Steinmeyer

Hi Patrik,

I can help with the newspaper routine if you want to get in touch with me directly. I know a little about the chair item as well, but only because I know someone who was working with DB when those particular TV shows were taped.

What is it with famous magicians whose name is David?

What is it with famous magicians with the initials DB?

Coincidence or Omen?

Funny Wayman,
I was just looking through the entire Best Of Magic Series from 1988/89 and of course David Berglas performs his levitating table routine.
I expect it will be in the book.

I recently saw DB lecture and he mntioned that David Copperfield had bought the rights to the table routine, he also mentioned that the newpaper test would be in his coming book along with his odd chair levitation routine...(if you have seen it you know what I mean!)

The Best of Magic was a series of one hour TV shows made by John Fisher. It ran for two seasons and had six programs in each. There was a terrific mix of close-up and stage performances as well as some world class quick change segments by Arturo Brachetti.
