I was wondering if any of you out there doing IT work in your children's show. I have a friend that has an IT routine in his show and it has become his signature effect. I was just curious if others out there have found it worth their time to include in your show? Thanks.

Paul, it's probably possible, but because of my close proximity to the kids, I've been afraid to use it. However, a few years ago I did have great success opening my school-age after-school shows with a short Tarantula bill routine.

I used to do a floating hanky which went down well. I attached the other end of the thread to a box of cards which I could toss casually somewhere to anchor the thread.

It worked in most settings, except outdoor shows where the sunlight would catch the thread. I haven't used it in years, but it is good stuff.

Like Tony I have used a deck as well to
do a simple floating dollar.I ask them
if they want to see a card trick or a floating
dollar. They will most always say a floating dollar.
I then put the deck on my table and float a dollar.
