I just watched this lecture and it was really good. Not many effects taught but they were all really good! Eric Ross is a very clever creator andthe material he put forward in this was great. Gregory Wilson, as usual, was a great host and kept things upbeat and *** hilarious. Here are my thoughts on the effects taught:

Chucky - you show a photo of Chucky on your phone and place a coin on the spectators hand. A hand then reaches out of the photo and grabs the coin from the spectators palm and it vanishes. This uses Ammar's Little Hand gimmick in a new way and I definately found it refreshing. I will take my hand gimmick out of the drawer to test this out. Real creepy stuff, I love it.

Election - a do as I do effect, with a brainwave style ending that Eric performed on Ellen. The method is really doable and requires no gimmicks at all. Eric taught two different versions, and both have their pros and cons. This is genius and I will be using this, especially to fool thd buddies at my magic club.

Submerge - two selected cards, placed in seperate parts of the pack and they slowly and visually melt tbrough the deck to meet together in the middle. Requires no gimmicks and the visual is insane! It was the highlight of the lecture for me, an impromptu gem.

Crush - a bottle of watter crushes in the spectators hands. Eric taught the no gimmicks method from the now discontinued DVD. The method is very clever and when I tested it, it worked. They had issues in the lecture but it turned into a troubleshooting session to learn from. This works well and if you like the effect, you will enjoy this method.

Needle thru hand - Eric performed this geek magic gem and explained how to it properly. It is dangerous and he doesn't reccomend performing it. However, he covers it and Greg and Chris do it too (which was hilarious)

This was a good lecture. Not a lot covered, but there was definately some gems in here. Really enjoyed it Smile
