Richard has a reputation as a real world performer and very creative author in Magic and Mentalism
In this free video he shares his perspectives in Mentalism, like his own "13 steps". I like that the place he decide to focus in "Presentation" as the first.

Personally I don't agree with all his thoughts, but still there are gems for those who want to invest time and effort to create an authentic act and not be the next copy-cat.

Thanks Richard for your efforts in leaving the art better that you found it.

All the best

Pablo, which thoughts of Richard do you not agree with?

Good question Mike. Lets see what this young gun knows that Richard doesn't.

Now, now, don't pick on Pablo. He's a good guy and an old friend.

Besides, if everyone agreed with everything I said, that would be ... weird

This is the attitudes that we need in this places. Why to open an argument based in personal opinions? They will lead clearly in this context to more non constructive than to constructive places.
Richard has his perspective based in his own experience, I have my own perspective based in my own experience.

The important thing is to have one opinion about the art and make it work for real audiences, not just for our own computer.

All the best my brother Richard. Thanks again for your work!! You are an inspiration for my learning and development.

I -WISH- that every performer of ANY kind, that has even ONE minute, would listen to this starting at 24:59

I think it could make the most profound change in our industry.

Thanks for posting this! I loved the way Richard and Jim presented Corindas 13 Steps and their PME-series. I am very much looking forward to the release of the other 12 videos!

I'm going to guess that it will be more than 12 videos, which brings up the following questions:

How many videos will there be in the series?

Will there be a monthly subscription option?

For people that have a decent amount of Richard's material, how worthwhile will this be?

Bart,

One of the reasons I made the introduction was to inform, ahead of time, just what would be covered in each step so you could decide if it was worth your investment. I don't know exactly how Penguin will market these, but I suspect just getting one, let's say the next, will give you a good idea as to how much it might add and offer that is new.

So there will be 13 volumes? Or are the 13 steps divided into multiple volumes per step?
