I did my best to count interactions (laughter, answering questions, look-don´t see, physical movements and so on) the first 15 minutes of my show and came to 95. Have any of you done the same thing, and what did you get? I am in no way saying that this is a measure of how good a show is, a storyteller could surely have the kids sitting still and listening for a long time - doing a fantastic show.

I've never counted but I certainly pay close attention. Also it's not just the number of laughs and various reactions, but it's the length and quality of each reaction that counts. Also, depending on your goals, you may have a certain proportion (and order)of types of reactions that you prefer, such as 80% laughs, 5% oohs and ahhs, and less than 1% rocks and garbage thrown at you.
