I just watched the At the Table I think if you buy the right card stock, it should work quite well. If any of you subscribe to Cody Fisher's new free video newsletter, he showed a little more in his first video about the working of the board when he was showing updated tips and ideas for his book test.

I got my Proboard today and I got very disappointment.
If I have seen this post before buying it then I probably won't buy it. It is like other say just a board with no gimmick on it, so you can buy any board for nickel and dimes and just cut it to the size of it. If the board at least would have come with some writing cards with it then maybe it was worth the money, but to start using it I now have to start searching the right cards with no sample at my hands only the cards I can see in the video and the size Anton say, that don't fit in my country so I have to convert the size to metric system to know the right size. I think for the price you pay for a simple board you have to get at least 10 cards and video that show live or studio routine and not only explanation of what is this board with one or two talking sample what you can do with it. Anton made other good magic like Shuffled and MSP Deck that I also bought with this order of Proboard and as much that I liked those two other I did not like what I got with this order, plain board with instruction how to use it after I buy cards that fit if I mange to find those cards. If only I could get a link to where I can find those cards that ship worldwide, but even this simple thing is not on the video or in the stuff you get. As I said, this board cost no more then 5$ tops and you can do it yourself, so there is really no reason to pay so much for it. |

Yeah
I got mine as it was in a daily deal at Saturn £12.99 http://www.saturnmagic.co.uk/the-black-h......ick.html I don't know if it's on the vidoes - but before I bought it I watched the At the Table with A James In that he says what the 'paper'/card is - you need to get [I think 16 point, and the size - will check again when I order it] If you are a mentalist [not a mgician] I think it's usefull [for easy DL for Sexchange or Comedy Book test] for any comedy routine idea you have So I saw that value in it At £12.99 I still think it would be bad to use it in a serious mentalist routine [other than some DR thing - but I hate DR] Anyway if the size and thickness isn't on the videos - c heck out his at the table |

Hi,
I have seen it too, but searching for this paper brought to me no result other then business cards size. A$ or something close for it is hard to find. If I know how much it wight (gr) then it might help me more them 16 point paper. I guess I need a matte paper A4 260 Gr but all I can find in matte is Max 190 in my country or Ebay, so a link for a place ship worldwide would have been great. I also bought it on sale on Saturnmagic, but still I think that at least one example **** with a place to refill was in place and that is my biggest disappointment. Thank for the help The Duster Eitay |

Right
if I remember it's '16 point matt finish' [?] - I will check before I order but my plan is to order it [at the correct size] from a printer - I've used one for years for flyers/posters/etc so it's easy as 'can I have this [one side my design] rest blank white, on 16 point matt finish' I'm not sure if high street printers will do that [they probably will] But the places people make orders from direct - will If you are just after plain paper [no design] it should be cheaper to buy a ream/100 pack, though to get the lowest price - you may have to buy it slightly bigger and cut it to size [?] Like you I have never heard of 16 point before - but 14 and 16 point seem to be fairly normal sizes [on google] for biz cards or wedding invites... seems to be a whopping 360gsm http://www.ogprinting.com/tech_paper.php |

I purchased it as well to use with Cody's book test, and was surprised that was all that came with it. Watching Cody's newsletter, he gave some good information on using this board with his book test. For the price ($30.00), I thought there was more to it than what I got. I thought it was gimmicked. The instructions were pretty basic. I learned more about the board in Cody's newsletter than what's provided. For this price, it probably should have had some extras with it (routines / supplies), but it seems sturdy.
For a worker, this makes sense, but for amateurs like me, I could have passed on this and just used what Cody talked about on the DVD. However, I have it now, and will use it. I've made worse purchases than this, so I don't consider it a bad purchase, just wasn't what I expected... In no way does it make it a bad product in my opinion. |

Can this also be used as a dry erase board. Just curious if the material would allow for this.

I probably wouldn't - but you could always modify it slightly by using dry erase laminate adhesive sheets to turn it into a board that could be used with dry erase markers. Just a thought...

Hey People, we get ripped off enough. When a device is sold to the public (us) The people selling the product should at least advertise that to use it, you need items from the local art supply
or stationary store or specifically you need to purchase other items which are not supplied with the product. |
