Today I received my coins ( two coins sets) from "Baltazar Magic Concept".
Both coins sets looks wonderful, absolutely perfect.
I did not know what a normal coin and what is a gimmick coin. Really!
Pure perfection!
Besides these, Jerome is a very, very nice person. Before he sent me the coins, he has photographed them and asked me if I'm happy with it?

Respect, Jerome!

Those aren't particularly well matched.
In the first set the gaff coin is considerably darker than its "match", in the 2nd set, the dates on the halves are different.

When I was waiting my set from BMC,Jerome sent me some photos.I noticed all the coins had not the same darkness and I was afraid.
When I saw my set, with my eyes,i could see all the coins are exactly the same.

That is because I have used the normal ( matched) coin without gimmick coin.
Gimmick coin looks now exactly the same.

I found unfortunate to judge this wonderful set with the différence of color between both coins. Anyone Who have a sun mon knows the probably différence possible ( oxydation , utilisation...) and quicky disappear or rectify with gum. By contrast , I prefer exchange about the perfect adjustment , thickness of the insert..... I know Jerome and he spent a lot of time to adjust ,rectify ,search an error ...... And ready to start again if he wasn't pleased. His obsession is always perfection and have a gimmick invisible.

And then offered pictures. In the pictures it was easy to tell the coins apart by color. There was no prior mention of the coins he just got having tarnished differently in the short time he had them.

Either way, the difference in dates on the halves clearly isn't from use or non use.

Well you're certainly free to discuss those aspects. Did someone say you couldn't? And how does that, make my concerns about "matching coins" that don't quite match "unfortunate"?

Website says for professional reasons? My French stinks, so I'm wondering if copyright was an issue.

As someone who has owned a few small businesses, I really dislike seeing one close.

Uh oh. RL and FC will have nothing to do now. BMC, you have let them down. I suspect they will be at some rehab joint now trying to find meaning in life again.

I told to Jérôme.
He is the boss of 2 business and for BMC, he's alone.
He first job needs him all his time.
If he wants a personnal life, he have to stop BMC.
But, for me, he's still the best.
Those Who have BMC gaffs knows...

It is really an enormous loss.
However perfectionism of Jérome and its desire to satisfy always his customers asked him a great deal of time for every gimmick. Not wishing to decrease the quality of his work and his first real job deteriorating everyday, he made a difficult choice.
It's all to his credit!

He preferred to stop his activity before being too much requested with every coin magicmen whom really began to recognize his talent throughout the world.
