I think that I am a rising beginner. I have a lot to learn in mentalism, and I would love to learn everything I can about the art of mentalism.

Both Marc's and Colin's lecture are great.
Can't go wrong with either of theme. Which ever you pick, you will be a winner. |

Dutch Frank, exactly, that's why in my post I said I don't like the word tricks when talking about mentalism. Daivernon1234, my comment about beginners wasn't meant to be seen as directed at you personally, just a general observation. I hope you enjoy your trip down the mentalism road, its a fascinating subject and we are all still learning no matter how long we have been performing.
By failing to prepare, we are preparing to fail.

I like both lectures but I invite you to invest your time in what you have now.

I bought both lectures and thought that they were equally excellent. Can't add much more to what has been said. Why not go for the pick 5 for $99 with Penguin? I think that both are a part of that deal.
Just re-watched Colin the other night. So interesting to watch the progression and maturation of routines like "bookless book test." I am always challenged and inspired by the constant drive of these performers to improve everything that they do. Lou |

I love Marc Spelmann's lecture. He has a neat twist on Bank Nite; I was in audience and helped him with the book test (big guy in orange shirt); and I love his handling for Out of This World.

The way I would choose, due to both being very good, would depend on the one where Dan Harlen is less annoying.......good luck.
