If there are problems holding the cards and having to use less. contact me. I have a fix that I use before each show to ensure that I'll have no problems. Nikki78 says that it worked great for him.

I just want to chime in on the issue of the card suspending the whole deck. there is zero need to take any cards out. I bought a brand new deck to add Arthur to and initially had the same issues. Then I had this grand idea to watch the entire download. At the very end it tells you what to do to make it work. I "preped" it within 1 min (I actually started the prep work as the video was rolling) after that it worked like a charm. since my deck is brand new and if I have not used it regularly enough I have to do this 40 second prep before I use it. Also, any time I use one of my old decks it works 100% of the time.
As a side note I am working on combining this effect with Loki Kross's ACR routine from his FAX dvd, the deck suspension would finish the routine. |

Love the Revololution Arthur idea. You could start with a single card spin, then cards in the box, then the big one, the whole deck without the box.

Thanks therealmagician. I sometimes do the box, then the card then the deck, but usually I do one or the other. I don't really worry too much about it since either way it is awesome. The arthur version takes a lot of practice though! Unless you can modify the gimmick, but its something to try!

An idea for winter and holidy parties, you can freeze the deck if you have some kind of utility such as vapr or smoke. While it is in their hands you can produce smoke and blow on it to make it freeze.

The unit I got was pretty poorly put together (glue had oozed out and dried on all sides, the gimmicks were warped and the edges were glaringly darker than the other cards in the deck) but it was functional. I never would have used that particular deck in performance because it looked far from normal. I did have the typical issues right out of the box but nothing a little thought could not fix.
Since I do not use Bicycle decks in performance, I ripped the gimmicks apart and remade them with a brand new Phoenix deck. Before doing that, I wore the cards down by shuffling them a lot and rubbing both sides of all the cards on a wood table top, each card being done twice. Just for uniformity, I rubbed them around in a figure 8 pattern. After putting the gimmicks together, it works absolutely perfectly and the deck looks great. I was immediately intrigued when the trailer was first released because of the story lines that can be tied in to this. There are some good alternate ideas in the video but many, many more are waiting to be discovered. I have been using this in one of my sets for a couple of weeks and audiences love it - I do too! |

DR_J Sorry to hear that. I have not heard of any gimmicks being made with that level of quality. Sorry that it was like that. I am however happy to hear you were able to resolve it and are using it now. I typically perform with Bikes , so do many others, but it is made to be adapted.

I have no problem with fixing a gimmick that can be fixed by the end user. It was well worth the [relatively little] time that it took and I really like using this effect.

Absolutely will do Chris, I have said this in another forum, but I love the amount of teaching in the tutorials (I used to lecture finance/economics), so will definitely watch it all!
