Does anyone know if this is taught somewhere separately (in a PDF or download)?

The Takahasi's Fading Coins routine is in the book "Japan Ingenious" published by Kaufman
& Co. It's still available at several on-line Magic retailers. It's a book that I think you'll enjoy, I know I still do.

An updated version of this is also taught, with permission, in Larry Hass' book Transformations.
