Marc it's really the same in mechanism as the Miracle Prediction Chest. I like bizarre magic quite a bit too. I came across a really nice set of Tarot cards that are designed to represent 62 deamons from various folklore. I am designing a routine where I can do a dark tarot reading and at the end the chest is unlocked and the prediction inside matches the tarot card chosen as the final foretelling.

Really I like props that lend themself to greatstory telling. To me this could be anything or have belonged to anyone.

I too have several boxes, but none that lock.
Yes, you can use a rubber-band, etc. on most. But having a key just adds to the Coolness!
